they deserve no stars . and obviously they could care less . the worst company I have ever seen .two weeks after ordering my service I still have no equipment or service . I was repeatedly told erroneous info . they have no idea how to communicate or do their jobs properly . it's awful just awful . I drive to their store 3 times to get the equipment and was on hold with no explanation . so much lost time and revenue and then I ask them to ship it to me , another 5 day hold !!!! I still haven't received anything but they took my money , theyre good at that . what a fiasco !? how do they get away with this!!!! they should be investigated and run out lot business . avoid spectrum at all costs , don't believe the patrionizing lies .

They are the absolute worst company! Their sales reps harass people at grocery stores to join. The internet goes out consistently just like Texas electricity. They've contracted with apartments so that they are the only company that can service the residents.

Spectrum raised my rate by $55.00 per month all at once and with no warning. been a customer for 24 years and they are not the same. their customer service reps are not willing to retain customers which is likely a tone set by corporate. just another reason to disconnect.

unreliable service. every month or two they're down for a day or longer. the phone service is total trash in Austin too, I get 1 bar 99% of the time. when the free year and they jack up the prices of internet I'm just going to switch

As you can see from the other reviews, no yourself a favor and avoid spectrum cable and mobile. Horrible service, and untrained technical staff.. Treat existing customers terrible and only offer incentives in pricing to trap in new customers. Use Version mobile or anyone other than Spectrum.

Spectrum service in Hutto is horrible. From the the customer service to the product you receive. I canceled my service due to the constant outages and how slow th internet was. Now they want me to pay them $800 for services I did not receive. When i told them that i am canceling them they began threatening me over the phone. I am outraged with the way they treat their customers.

Great customer service. attentive compassionate and very trustworthy this experience with Ms Karen what's her name she said she was one of the supervisors colleagues I'm assuming a group of team of managers I couldn't find the location exactly where she is but that's the experience I got when communicator with her all ears clear words and RIGHT the business!!!! Great job and I hope this reaches the right miss Karen at that website below

I'm so disappointed with this company. I've been with them for over 4 years and had service issues often at my apartment in austin near zilker park. Recently I bought a house and moved my services they sent out the wrong technician 4 times and finally had me on the phone for 2 hours to get their system corrected so that the right technician would be sent out. They scheduled the appointment for the next day and offered me free TV for life as an apology. I work from home so for over a week I had to travel to find working spaces since I had no internet. The person for the appointment never showed up so I called and they scheduled another one for the following day. I finally got internet and every one was very kind. However, when I checked my bill I saw that the tv was included. I called and they informed me that there is no way for them to offer free tv at all let alone for life. They apologized and said the supervisor would listen to the recording of the call and call me back in the next 2 days to see what they could do. They were kind and said it was not right for this to be offered and that they would make it right. I never got a call back. I called the next week and they said to wait another week. I called today and they said there is nothing they can do except cancel the tv service. This is such a bad customer service experience and I will be finding a different internet provider. The man on the phone tried to tell me I would never find this good of a deal and I said I would rather pay more to be able to have adequate customer service. He was the only one with a bad attitude so it unfortunate that my last experience with Spectrum was tainted by his poor service but it is what it is.

Recently a Spectrum salesperson came to my door with an offer of 9 free months of fiber optic internet and $50/month after that. I verified with her that it was actually fiber optic and 1 gig upload and download.The equipment arrived the next day and was configured for coaxial cable (and much slower internet). I called Spectrum and learned that they don’t offer fiber optic in my neighborhood.I went to their store at Hancock Center to cancel the order and return their equipment. The representative was distracted and rude from the start. I had to constantly repeat myself because she wasn’t paying attention. At the close of the transaction she removed the equipment from the boxes it had been shipped to me in and demanded that I take their boxes with me because they didn’t have room for them.Spectrum is exhibiting the same obnoxious behavior and mendacity that they did when they were called Time Warner. I consider myself lucky that they showed their true colors before I got further entangled with them.

I tried to go to the bundle of internet, mobile phone and TV for what seemed like a good price, November 23, 2023. The streaming TV service, even with upgraded internet, buffered often after being on for anything over 2 hours (watching a movie). Every phone call or chat was a sales pitch to upgrade internet or defending the service quality. Tried to go from streaming to traditional cable service, so requested a cable box which was delivered, but the technician had disconnected all the wiring in my service box, so was informed it would require a service call and charge to reconnect. I suffered through 3 hours of chat and phone calls on January 23, plus an hour trip to return the tv/streaming equipment which included being told the Spectrum stores are just sales sites and I couldn't return equipment. Today the billing email confirmed that the service still hasn't been disconnected, so being billed for services I can't access. Today, 30 minutes of chat time and another 25 minutes of on hold and 3 representatives to get the service turned off. The representatives are polite, but focused on upselling services and don't seem to follow through on requests. I hopefully have the tv service gone now. The savings aren't worth the frustration and aggravation of services that were just installed. I always thought Cox in Louisiana was bad with constantly increasing bills, but this was much worse. Maybe, there are better options in Texas, but this was not a good experience.

Worst customer service. Trash company took out our cable line @530 this morning. Called spectrum and they gave up a 12 hour window. Ridiculous!! So now my company has been all day without phones internet or cable. For what they charge they should be more prepared for calls. But hey all the workers just sitting around in parking lots really show how dedicated you are to killing time and not doing your job!

Had a quick experience the first time as a new customer picking up my router and was very satisfied. All I needed was my info and ID.When I got home however was very disappointed with the set up process. It took forever and was stressful. Found out when I called it was because one of my pieces of equipment hadn't even been scanned over to me.Had to return it and get a new one. Kiki was very friendly and helpful. Hopefully this time I won't have to return!
