We welcomed the fresh scent of our room and it was clean. We checked for bed bugs, nothing. There were medium size TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ice bucket, iron \\u0026 ironing board. The bed looked comfy until we toast and turn then the squeaky started. The pillows were soft, like it much! They had a tiny lobby and a small breakfast area. We had free breakfast but lacking fresh fruits. During night time, heard the slamming of car doors coz the parking lot is just outside our door. There was a broken window as we passed by near the lobby. The employees are friendly and accomodating.

Location is great, you're walking distance to 6th Street and near a lot of great locations. The room was clean but the bathroom was a little sketchy with mildew and mold in the corner. The bed left a lot to be desired, was soft and sunk in the middle.\\n\\nThey charged a 50 dollar deposit, which isn't described anywhere on the website when booking. It's refunded 3-5 business days after check out. But they keep it if they suspect you of smoking or wrecking the room. A little odd as most places just keep your card on file in case of additional charges.

The location was good. The staff seemed to know the property has issues. Our room was filthy. There were stains on the walls, some of which looked like blood droplets. Our bathroom fan didn’t work and the shower curtain rod was broken so the bathroom was constantly wet with mold growing in the ceilings and walls. We found seed and nut shells on the floor which weren’t ours. The hair dryer just fell off the wall without being touched. Do to the extent or uncleanliness we opted to check out early since we wouldn’t feel that any other room would really be clean.

I booked this just yesterday since I had to be in Austin urgently and this place is the best! Very clean room and very professional! I was treated with respect! Good customer service and very nice environment. It’s a walking distance to pretty much Everything downtown. Clean room and everything! 10/26/2022

It's a super 8, what do you expect.\\n\\nInside of the room was better than expected. They've done some updates. Staff was very nice.\\n\\nCouple dead roaches on the floor but at least you know that they're spraying for them. This is Texas and it's an older building. I did a good hard search for bedbugs and didn't see any, that was my bigger concern.

Easy location close to downtown. Near the freeway but not noisy like other places as the freeway along this stretch is below grade.The rooms are in good shape and clean. The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful.Rooms: 5/5

Was very surprised how much I enjoyed staying here. Beds were comfortable & rooms were very clean. It's in a perfect location. You can see the capital from the parking lot. Close enough for a cheap uber to 6th street. There was always a staff member available even late at night. We weren't bothered by anyone. Definitely will come stay again.

Room was good and enjoyed the stay actually. But BEWARE, this hotel charges a $50 dollar fee when you check in under the premise of a refund upon appropriate checkout. I never got it back and had 3 separate desk workers confirm that it was refunded over the phone only to find out that it was never actually refunded. Hopefully this is just bad training, but reads alot like a scamming technique. They have apologized and assured me now that the refund has been sent on the fourth time I have called. We shall see.

Roaches! This place is a roach motel. Staff was friendly. Pool was ok. This place needs to be remodeled. It is literally two minutes from Franklin BBQ which is the reason I booked it. Yes it's conveniently located to downtown but if you have the money I would suggest staying somewhere else! The free breakfast wasn't great either.Rooms: 1/5

Booked a four-day stay for me and my husband to have a vacation upon entering I thought it was nice then I came and found that there was a lot of for dealing around it was filthy is nothing like the pictures did not have a coffee pot in the room like it said it did full price for a roach infested room rented two rooms one room and TV did not work for my brother-in-law told them about the TV they never fixed it told them about the roaches they were already aware of it and they do nothing to help you call the housekeeping for extra travels and toilet paper took three hours to get it I would not wish this room for this hotel upon anybody stay away it is gross you have people sleeping in the hallways in their underwear people hanging outside all hours of the night and roaches going up and down your walls and in your bathrooms stay away worst day I have ever had in my whole entire life I will not return

They scam you out of your deposit. Do not stay here. When I was checking out, the lady at the desk said that my room smelled like smoke so they will not refund my deposit. I don't even smoke. She said that if I had a problem with it then the only way to determine if the room smells like smoke is to have the police come smell the room. I didn't have time for that because I was leaving for work so I said to just keep the deposit. About an hour after I left I got another charge for $100 on my card. This Super 8 is trash.

Nice and warm place for 1-3 days stay at most, they could put some rubber/anti slippers inside the bathtub, free ice is the best! Room is comfortable enough to pass the night and keep going the next day

so gross. The rooms were not clean. Sticky floors. Roaches in bathroom. Smelled like mold/mildew. Water stains in closet. Door knob in. Bathroom about to fall off. Sticky comforter. I wish I would have left but it was so late. I checked out the next morning and went to Holliday Inn. I do not recommend and do not think this facility would pass inspection with regards to mold

We checked in the hotel with staff greeting us with a smile. Our experience staying here was pretty amazing. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. The room was clean and tidy. Checking out was a breeze. I will definitely come back again. Review by Gabriel A Culiat

Great spot to go downtown on scooters and rooms were better than I thought. Although no TV service at the time I stayed June 30. There is a $50 deposit that was returned with no problems and the A/C was perfectly cold with great hot and cold showers available.
