I have never boarded my dog before so I was very nervous to board him for our trip out of state. But he did so good at boarding and even played with other dogs! I am so happy with Taurus Academy.

Taurus staff is always friendly and welcoming. Each member of the staff gets very excited to see my pup and the feeling is mutual. The waitlist to get into puppy daycare was well worth it!

This daycare will keep your dog safe and cared for, but they spend most of the day crated. It reminded me of the shelter I adopted her from, and that might be good for less social dogs, but I’m not paying for daycare for my dog to be crated most of the day. The play area was very small and I was told they do not let them play for longer than 45 minutes at a time, and with fewer than 10 dogs. It seems like a great facility for older or reactive dogs. There is no indoor play area, only kennels.

Always super impressed with Taurus Burnet! They are efficient and clearly care deeply for all the puppers in their care. I have been taking my dogs there for boarding for years, as they are one of the only places that will accommodate my high maintenance fur-babies. 10/10 will always recommend Taurus!

There’s simply no place like Taurus! Every part of this business is top notch and makes you and your pup feel like part of the family. We bring Ellie here twice a week for daycare and board her when we’re out of town, and she gets more excited pulling up here than she does at home! The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and professional, and I feel incredibly comfortable bringing Ellie here for the day or boarding. If you’re looking for your dogs second home, this is the place.

I waited to write a review until I was confident in the facility.Well, here we are 2 months later and I am in love! My dog goes for day care 1-2x a week, and oh my god. She loves this place beyond words. Even if we are anywhere nearby on Burnet she starts freaking out and screaming out of excitement, lol.Staff is super accommodating and patient, and Sequoia loves everyone there.I am very grateful for the staff's hard work. Also love their fun extra treat days! Sequoia's tried the peach cobbler, pigs in a blanket, and pretzel treats. You only pay $3-$5 extra, and they give your pup a fun treat and send you photos.Even though the staff is busy, they will still greet you with a smile and roll with the punches! I appreciate everyone here very much, and I am BEYOND grateful that my dog is able to attend this location's day care.THANK YOU!!! <3

I LOVE Taurus and so does Dallas. We have enjoyed training, daycare, and boarding.They send sweet pics and videos that show how much they care about your puppy just as much as you do.Also!!! They took my sweet Dallas to the vet during his 2 week training stay to get a shot and check up. (Allergies)They the bomb. JS.

We've been taking our dog to Taurus on Burnett Road for a couple of years now, both for single day Doggie Day Care and extended overnight boarding. Friendly, helpful staff have provided excellent care.

We are so so grateful for the love and care all the staff at Taurus Burnet takes when we leave our pup Ash with them. He runs in and clearly loves being there. The staff goes over and beyond with their text messages and overall communication. Their app provides easy access to make reservations and contactless payment. Thank you thank you thank you so so much, Taurus! We love you!!!

We love Taurus Academy on Burnet. Brazos is always is excited for Wednesdays when we drop him off for daycare. The staff always takes great care of him. I would highly recommend for daycare and boarding.

They have the industry worst refund policy (basically there isn't one) and are not willing to budge. You can have Covid or any sickness for that matter and they will not refund your money. They change their story so just be careful. Some staff say it's a 30 day cancellation policy (who can commit to that?) and then some say 2 weeks. Basically it's whatever they choose to say for the moment. Not to mention it's one of the most expensive places in town. Highly recommend using Camp Bow Wow.

Taurus is a great way to start and end the day, both for my dog and me. Dropping him off is hilarious with how excited he gets and picking him up tuckered out is the best.Both AM/PM crew are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient with any silly question I may ask. We started with one of their training packages, which was incredibly worth it, and moved to day care.My dog knows when his days for day care are and is READY to leave the house faster than I am. Really can’t picture our week-to-week without Taurus now.
