I guess having a glass for tap water in your room is too much to ask from this place.

Worst hotel for the price. Booked 4 rooms for a wedding weekend. Beds on the floor. Zero lighting except for two nightlight lamps beside the beds. Rooms are very dark. P6 rooftop bar and lobby bar has rude staff. Don’t try to get a drink past 11:00pm at this hotel, even on weekends. Valet needs help. Waited over 30 minutes to get my car TWICE over a weekend stay. Front desk’s answer to any question is “no, I’m sorry.” Too many rules and zero accommodation for anything. Avoid this nightmare of a hotel. So many other hotels in the area that are WAY nicer.

No access to fresh water, rooms worn down, No coffee, breakfast. Shower water temperature either hot or cold. For this money and and a four star hotel not at all impressed!

This hotel is nice for sure. The location is fabulous. The staff and service were great. I held back 5 stars for service for one reason - at check in, the staff raved about the rooftop bar. So we dropped all of our things and headed there at 3 pm to check it out. Upon arrival, they asked if we had a reservation. It was not busy, They said all of the patio was reserved and they had no seats inside. So, not really enough area to handle entertainment for guests. The downstairs lounge opened at 5. So, we went to the JW Marriott a block away and had a great afternoon. The rooms are a little dark. I think its the vibe. Beds are close to the ground. I slept well though. We only had one coffee cup in the room. Staff said that is the typical allotment. They were happy to provide a second one - no trouble. At least we had two towels.Truthfully, it’s really not a bad place. I don’t think its a luxury hotel, but that is my opinion. It’s probably not our thing for the future, but don’t overlook it.

Fantastic location but the property has some real flaws. The rooms are showing their wear. We had HVAC issues and our friends had water problems in their bathrooms. Service was good for the most part but was a bit surly here and there. Particularly at P6. They seemed a bit too cool to serve my friends a couple of times. Also, this hotel seems to be frequented by drunk 20-something’s on the weekends. They are incredibly loud and obnoxious and the hotel doesn’t seem to have a plan to address it.Seems like a fine place to stay for a weekday business trip, and the location is good, but it’s not ideal from a service or experience perspective.

There's an additional $30/day amenities fee when you check out, which I haven't encountered at other hotels. I stayed there for two nights. The hotel is in a great location with lots of things to do within walking distance. However, the room I stayed in always felt misty, and it seemed like the ventilation wasn't working well. My room faced the street, and I could hear the traffic. Although it didn't bother me, it could be an issue for someone who is sensitive to noise.

Do not use the valet service! There is no oversight for your car. Ours had its gas siphoned. We received our valet ticket and then went up to have drinks at P6. About an hour and a half later, we came back, paid the valet, and drove off. We quickly realized the gas gauge was showing almost empty, which was unexpected as we hadn’t run it that low before arriving at The Line. After pulling into a gas station to fill up, we found gas residue around the gas tank opening, a clear indication of someone having siphoned gas, causing spillage.I called the hotel directly the next day to report the incident. They put me on hold for a while and then transferred me to the valet manager. I suggested he take whatever actions he deemed necessary with this information. According to him, part of their protocol involves routinely inspecting all cars in the garage three times a day to ensure they are locked, windows are rolled up, etc. This raises the question: why even have such a protocol if such incidents can occur? If management is reading this, you might want to conduct an investigation.

Really nice hotel in downtown Austin. Loved it...very high tech, completely self service, so missed the human touch a bit...parking is $54

Service is the only thing that elevates a hotel past 2 stars. A good hotel should know, and not place guests in, a room that the cold water faucet doesn’t work, that a part of a broken plug is sticking out of the bathroom socket, that the hair dryer is so clogged with dust that air doesn’t flow, etc. A little attention to details and a little care of quality and this could be a good hotel. Valet service was excellent so kudos there.

In my opinion, this business is overrated and not a place I would stay again due to several reasons, including, old food in the refrigerator upon check in, beds too low to the ground, funny scent in the lobby, room very stuffy, dirty bathroom sink upon check in, and mold in the shower (yes, I have photos). To top it off, I asked for a late checkout for the next day and was told I had to physically visit the lobby at 10:00 am the day of checkout so they could determine if they could accommodate. When I stayed I was in a session from 7:15 am until 11:30 am, I was again rebuffed. That’s why I prefer to stay in corporate hotels (Marriott, Hilton) because customer service there is very accommodating!

Great view of the city and right next to congress bridge to see the bats. This hotel fails on the street noise side as you can hear everything. Next they have made the parking situation valet only which would be fine as I’m not opposed to this as we just tip the guys but they charge $49 a night with no alternative to parking. Then the restroom in the room had a broken toilet seat along with the bed basically being on the floor it’s so low. The chair in the room to sit at the table was broken and then they want to add an amenity fee which makes no sense unless they keep things in order. Lastly take your own vanity or extra light to see anything in the restroom or you’ll have to get one from the hotel which they will charge you for.

Love this hotel for its location and views. The rooms are small but who cares. What are you trying to do in a big hotel room anyway? They have an amazing restaurant and bar on the top level as well. I recommend this hotel quite frequently to family and friends coming in to town.Rooms: Small but perfectNearby activities: A lotWalkability: The bestFood & drinks: Great food awesome drinksNoteworthy details: You can see the bats come out from the bridge

3 night stay.Loud from the traffic noise- get new windows?Lobby cheeky but clean the dirty furniture- cleaning maintenance schedule?Horrible bathroom with paint pealing in the shower and very poor lighting? RenovateNo cash property- funny to me that staff expects tips with jars on the counter but the property is credit cards only. Post your policy so I can choose if that’s what I want.Nice location to downtown.
