Umlauf Sculpture Garden + Museum is a lovely hidden oasis in Austin featuring emotive sculptures embedded in nature. It has a nice walking trail leading around all the breathtaking sculptures under refreshing, shaded trees. The museum includes a small but worthwhile indoor space for rotating exhibits. Community programs and events are very well coordinated, featuring hands-on kids activities, guided tours, and celebrations with dancers and vendors. An audio guide provides more meaning behind the pieces. It is a peaceful and pleasant setting, spacious for groups, and definitely worth a visit.
A beautiful hidden gem in Austin. The outdoor sculptures are integrated perfectly with the landscape. It's a quiet escape from the city hustle, though parking can be tight on weekends.

I poped in my headphones and listened to cello music while i looked at the sculptures. It was a great experience to feel as every one of the faces had an emotion a feeling to share.
