“I would give less than one, if able. I wanted to ensure anyone wanting to book with The Beeman was warned about their customer care and how they treat their potential customers. My mother called, placed a reservation, and then needed to cancel within thirty minutes. They nicely canceled her reservation but refused to return her fee—$1000. I know for a fact that she explained she was coming to town to assist her ailing stepmother (basically her mother), and that she’s personally battling cancer, so this trip was already highly stressful for her. However, The Beeman did go above and beyond in this case: to make it a nightmare. They asked her to provide PROOF of both her and her mother’s ailments before they would refund her. Not only is that a massive violation of privacy, but it’s also an extremely inappropriate request. With my mother not receiving ANY help, I went to FB messenger and sent them a message. My mother got a call the next day from the GM (Corey Stewart), who then set her mind at ease, telling her she’d get a refund. However, my mom got another email from a CSR that night asking for more PROOF of her medical condition. I reached back out, assuming that it had been taken care of, but nope. We were misled, because telling a customer that they won’t be getting a refund is an uncomfortable conversation, and the GM would rather tell her she’s getting it and let someone else be the bad guy. As someone who has worked in CC most of her life, it’s an unacceptable practice. You never lie to a customer!So, I sent ANOTHER message to The Beeman’s team and told them that she needed a one-time courtesy refund, and they needed to make that happen at this point. My mom gets an email that says they’ve agreed! Yay! EXCEPT, she just got another email saying that they’ve changed their mind, “disregard the last email,” and if she provides PROOF, they’ll reconsider. If you’re thinking of staying here, and you hope to get help, service, or respect when it’s needed, you might want to look elsewhere. My mom has been going through all sorts of testing this past week, and during that, all we’ve been doing is trying to get $1000 back from a stingy, lying, company. I don’t often write reviews, but The Beeman deserves every word of this bad one—which I told them was coming. At least one of us follows through on promises.”

“The owner has been very respectful every time I have interacted with him. They are not difficult people at all. It is a good place to rest and even study academically. The place is well lit at night and they watch for unusual traffic for safety reasons. I've seen no loitering each time I have been there, thankfully, nor have I been harrased at all at any time. Each time I have been here the rooms were very clean. If only I could give more than 5 stars, I would give 100 stars.”

“The rooms are beautiful and full of fun colors. The staff was polite. The hotel lobby is very very cute. Complimentary breakfast is just ok.The hotel is in a row of 2 others and runs alongside the freeway 30West. Near lots of stores, gas stations, restaurants, and TX state fair when in town. The location, patient staff, fur babies welcome, frig and microwave in room, plus fun decor colors used at this hotel are what makes this a really beautiful and good stay. I asked for a room facing the freeway/front of the hotel cause I love the night city lights. Beautiful. The only Con is that the shower pressure is really, really low. Outside of that it's a very good stay. All the nice ladies at the front desk didn't mind cordial conversation....We will be back....Walkability: You can walk to the gas station and market next door.”

“I only give the rooms a 4 star because their so cozy i freeze my butt off. But the staff seem to relax alittle after they see you on purpose for several days. I rather like that. I think it shows great pride to know their property and customers so smartly. Maybe because HE, The Handyman, smiled today that it . feel so secluded even though your neighbors are well, NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS. Clean grounds, rooms, the staff dress comfortably,..the front desk staff are efficient, funny, inquisitive, and sharp as a tac. They keep the lobby stacked with brochures that cover day trips to full on continuation of one you have already started.Diedre”

“BEWARE!!!! This Hotel and staff do not honor policy! i booked a room weeks in advanced. I canceled within the cancelation time frame and I was still charged. Expedia agreed that I was wrongfully charged and tried for weeks to get my refund. They refused even with proof that I should have not been charged. I called trusting that it was a simple mistake and was rudely told that I would not get a refund by a woman that awnsered the call at the hotel. DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL OR STAFF WITH YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION, I do not recommend ever giving this establishment a credit card number they are not trust worthy. CROOKS!!!”
