“Besides the bums hanging around constantly asking for spare change, the place isn't too bad. Got decent selection. Sells beer tobacco also. People are friendly most of the time. Also, to show the humane side of some of the workers there, there was a dead kitten in front of the door. I let them know, the girl found a old shoe box, a bag, and gave the cat a proper burial. I mean damn people there was a trash can there but she went and dug a hole and buried it. You got my business for life for showing some damn compassion.”

“Most Dollar Generals are messy with rude service. Not this one. The male employee is friendly and happy to help. The manager is great too. She cares about her customers. I have a DG by my house (Garth and Decker), but I drive farther to come to this one because that one is trash. Thanks guys for making my shopping experience pleasurable instead of stressful.”

“It's a great place to pick up things on the cheap. There seasonal always surprises me as it's decent selection at super reasonable prices. The re cleaning supplies in my opinion work just as well as name brands. I'd say try it out and if you get something not up to par hey it was only a dollar well a buck twenty-five now.”

“A hidden lifesaver! It was getting late but I was able to run in & out quickly for a gift bag and tissue paper, for a dollar each ? So glad I didn't have to go all the way into target and overpay. And the store was clean and well organized, not a mess like other locations.And the young man behind the counter was very nice.I will be returning to this store. Thank you!”

“While I personally hate "dollar stores" due to their misleading name and front of being a discount store, this location has been clutch many times for random things. I have gone here late in the evening to pick up children's chewable Motrin and Tylenol when my kids were sick as well as shampoo and conditioner when we ran out. With this location being open until 10pm, it has been an object of convenience many times. I am willing to pay up to 25% more for items if it means a quick trip here vs. a much longer drive to HEB or Walmart. The staff here are generally polite and helpful. The selection of necessities is very good, but sometimes it is fun to wander around looking for things I didn't know I "needed". Don't expect a bargain, basically ever, however their sales are very good if you time things right and look for coupons (which I don't). I would definitely miss this store if it were to close like the other one that was close by.”
