“Quiet store. Not ever crowded. No long lines. CHECK out quick and easy. The employees are very friendly. Smiles and all. Helping the customer get things off the top shelf. I love shopping here!”
“HEB is my number one store, however if you need bulk items or if you have a big group then I would go to JoeV or Mi Tienda, those are all good choices and I believe they are sister companies so you're not stepping on any bodies toes.
My other go 2 is Buccees. Those who know, know.”
“Great local shop, I like to make curry, soba and pho on occasion. Plus the prices are great and selection is great for a modest location. The owner is quite nice.”
“This is a great little store! They always have everything you need without having to drive into town and fight traffic and crowds.... and if they don't have what you are looking for, they are willing to get it and keep it in stock if you shop there regularly. The grill is good from early morning breakfast to dinner time. Their gas prices are always fair and competitive. They don't try to gauge you even though they are the only store in close proximity to so many people who live out this way. The staff is always friendly and personable AND they carry SALTY TEXAN apparel and gear.... what could be better?!”
“Just a quick stop for a few items. I'm not generally a fan of this chain, but this one was relatively clean and well organized. Initially only 2 checkrs with 12 people waiting. A manager jumped in and started checking, but still an excessive wait time. It was just after 4PM so many folks were just leaving work.”
“There are new changes coming soon! As of 1/25/20, there is NO LONGER A CLOTHES DEPT!!To make up for it, which I did not really mind because it was always a mess, the store will now have a bigger card section and balloons. So it seems like it... we will have to wait for the finished product ?”
“The Store Manager Jeremy Is so great with the customers. Constant times even when hes off he goes out of his way to provide excellent customer service. Compared to alot of other dollar stores they are pretty clean. Highly understaffed but even though they still manage to keep the shelves stocked.”
“I don’t go in often but the few times I have they have always been super friendly and helpful. I don’t drink much so I told them what flavors I like and the type of drinks. They made great recommendations.”

The workers there make the entire experience worth the parking and walking in just to say hello and be greeted with warm, welcoming smiles and above and beyond accommodations!! I cheated on them twice w/ Kroger sushi and I’ll never do it again! 🤢”

“Bakery DepartmentAnd who said "Old Fashion Customer Service" was dead? I recently ordered a Birthday Cake with a BLACK PANTHER theme. The ordering was easy. The scheduling was made within a few minutes on a late afternoon on monday, and off I went home. I was picking up the cake on Wednesday morning. The following day, I received a phone call there was a discrepancy with the chosen decorative topping I chose ( there were two options). No problem, I'll go with the other one, i was okay with it but not excited about the decision. A few hours later I received another call, it was the same lady from the prior call, she was so lovely. She told me she understood the importance of a festive birthday cake and she and her staffed looked for a better Black Panther decorative option and found one! They saved the day!! The demeanor of the communication from the Bakery Deptartment was genuine and eager to please. The cake was so delicious. And the Black Panther decorations rocked!”

“Great place to grab Hispanic treats and everyday foods. It's a small mini mart loaded with everything....even a little restaurant inside. The food was great. Tacos were 2 for $3! They were double tortilla and delicious!”

The manager for this store has raised the standard for what I come to expect. I hope this spreads to the other Dollar generals.”
“Most Dollar Generals are messy with rude service. Not this one. The male employee is friendly and happy to help. The manager is great too. She cares about her customers. I have a DG by my house (Garth and Decker), but I drive farther to come to this one because that one is trash. Thanks guys for making my shopping experience pleasurable instead of stressful.”
