“I had a wonderful experience at this Caribbean grocery store, and I can’t recommend it enough. It was the only place in Houston where I was able to find authentic Guyanese cassareep in stock right before Christmas, which alone deserves five stars.
The couple who owns and runs the store are incredibly polite, welcoming, and clearly hardworking. You can tell they take pride in what they do and in serving the community. The store is well stocked with a wide variety of Caribbean products—everything from everyday staples to nostalgic treats like tamarind balls and spicy mango.
If you’re looking for hard-to-find Caribbean ingredients or just want to support a small, family-run business that truly shows up for its customers, this is the place to go.
