“I had no issue with the theater itself but the etiquette by other attendees was extremely lacking here. Kids kept getting up and running up and down the stairs throughout the movie, talking, and on their phones. Parents either didn’t care or were completely absent.
I’m a patient fellow so a one or two time instance doesn’t bother me, but when it reaches the fifth or sixth instance, that’s when it’s ridiculous. Plus, it wasn’t just one group but multiple groups around the theater.
The theater itself was fine, but be wary about the potential audiences for the movies you see here. If the movie will bring kids, I’d see it somewhere else to save your sanity.”
“I truly don’t even know where to begin! The Terrace Club and the entire staff exceeded every expectation I had for our wedding. When I walked into our reception it seriously took my breath away, and made me and my sister-in-law cry. We also had the honor of being one of the first bridal parties to enjoy the amazing, newly renovated bridal suite. It is such a gorgeous venue, and so many guests commented that it was such a fun, organized and beautiful wedding. I have to take a second to brag on Marlana a little bit..she was the BEST wedding coordinator. She truly felt like a second mom on my wedding day, in the most amazing way. She was so calming, professional and fun. Thank you to Hunter, Marlana and the entire staff at the terrace club. You all made every single hope and dream I had for my wedding come true. If you are thinking about booking this venue for your wedding, do it!! You won’t regret it?”
“I had a lovely 5-night stay in the Charlie, part of the Treehouse, this summer, and I would definitely return to this property.
First, the room was spotlessly clean, and effort was made to make sure everything was comfortable. This is really important to me. Despite being in the country, I never had any issues with bugs. It was easily cleaner than most hotels I've stayed in.
The location and the view were what got me! The view from the Charlie cannot be described with words. It is incredible to lay in the big bed and look out over the fields. It is soothing to the soul. I was there off season, and midweek, so maybe it was abnormal, but I rarely encountered anyone - actually my first encounter was as I was packing my car to leave! So, for me it was very quiet, very peaceful. The drive down Creek Road is also stunning, and it's not far too Dripping Springs and everything there. This is a really nice location to have privacy and peace but still things to do.
The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (along with a jug of water they provided). The shower took some time to heat up, but once it did, there was plenty of hot water and good pressure. There was an amenities room outside the Treehouse with access to ice, as well as games, books, etc.
The owner, Matt was always super responsive to emails. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing visit in the country!”
“We got married at Prospect House on May 2, 2025, and it was everything we hoped for—and more. The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautifully designed spaces that feel modern, elegant, and warm all at once. One of the things we loved most was how well the space is laid out—the flow between the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing was seamless.
Something that really set Prospect House apart was the incredible team. Lucy, our main contact, was AMAZING—so responsive, kind, and accommodating. She got back to us quickly on every question and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. We even had a last-minute alcohol request the week of the wedding and she handled it effortlessly. And beyond Lucy, everyone we interacted with at Prospect House was on top of every detail and so genuinely friendly. Thanks to them, I didn’t worry for a second on the wedding day—I knew we were in the best hands.
Like many couples, we hoped we wouldn’t need the rain plan—but unfortunately, the weather had other plans. Luckily, Prospect House has one of the most beautiful indoor setups we’ve seen. Even though we had to pivot, the day still felt magical, and we didn’t miss being outside for a second. The space looked incredible and photographed beautifully.
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to get married at Prospect House. The setting, the service, and the experience were all exceptional. We’ll cherish the memories (and the stunning photos!) forever.”

“We booked a weekend birthday party. Can’t rave enough about this cute, eclectic mini farm in NW Austin! All of the kids had a great time with the bunnies and seeing the other animals on the property. The owner was very helpful and hands on (provided a tour and shared information about the animals).

We went to checkout the Western Wonderland and found a large ice skating rink. It was the last day and even though did not skate it was something to see. The rink was indoors so the looked good with only a small layer of water however you could feel the chill off the ice. Mostly kids on the ice and ice skating walkers were available. Can’t wait until next year to get on the ice.”

“We loved this venue! Pecan Springs Ranch was beautiful for our April wedding, everything was green and the wildflowers were blooming. We had our wedding at the fireplace site and it was a great location for the ceremony with easy access from the roomy bridal suite. The main inside area was perfect for a dinner after the ceremony, and we loved the patio outside for our happy hour. The best part of the night was the dance party in the pavilion! Staff at Pecan Springs Ranch were very helpful and accommodating during the planning process, I can't recommend this venue enough.”

“The gym is an upgrade overall over the old one (on the bottom floor) Some parts of the old layout were better, but the current club meets modern standards, and the food options now have enough variety that people are actually fine eating there. The property has gone through a few renovations over the past 25 years.
The golf course is very challenging and pretty hilly, and there’s also a nice driving range just across the street. The pool has a deep end, designated lap areas, and more open space for general swimming. There are also tennis courts and summer camps for kids.”

“This place is a gem! ? I attended an event in the beautiful main lodge and then had the opportunity to tour the treehouses, they are otherworldly!! The whole place is enchanting and shows what is possible with intelligent design and use of local natural resources. Melissa was a great tour guide and I left feeling inspired!”

“My son and daughter-in-law just had their wedding there and overall it was a great experience for them. Really cool old Western town setting. Was able to move the wedding from building to building, from the old wedding chapel to the old saloon, to the old school house for the DJ and reception. A good time was had by All, great venue.”
