“If you have not had the pleasure of eyeing this incredible venue in person, you need to! This absolutely is a hidden gem! The Hill Country location is spectacular, and their recreation of this small Texas community in the early 1900’s will take you to a completely different time and place which allows you to relax and truly enjoy your celebration. Their customer service is second to none. From our first inquiry to the main event itself, Matt Wooley (co-owner) was the kindest, most genuine person to work with. Star Hill went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. We are so grateful. There is no doubt that Star Hill Ranch will always have our future business. Beautiful venue, great location, outstanding customer service, affordable price.5 stars for sure!”

“I can't complain about this Cinemark because every time I've taken the kiddos here we've had a blast. The only reason it's getting 4 out of five stars is the beer selection is terrible. Lol. Just kidding, it's just super limited and with all the great craft beer around Austin it should be better.”

“We used this venue to host our informal wedding rehearsal dinner and it was PERFECT! Teresa was wonderful to work with, helping us procure some obscure Chicago alcohol, helping us set up AV in record time, and generally being a lovely host.”

“We had our wedding at Rambling Rose Ranch in October 2023. I believe it was the second venue we visited, and I immediately knew it was "the one." The venue is beautiful. The dance floor surrounded by all the greenery and the window panes left me in awe. It was a beautiful spot for our first dance, and the surrounding area for games. One one side of the dance floor was this rustic bar area with three cocktail tables - one we used for our fake tattoo station. The "arena" is the covered area with a huge space large enough for all the tables, catering, a spot for the DJ, AND dancing (which we had to move under because it started to rain a bit). The steps with the gorgeous tiles leading up to the ceremony site from the dance floor are beautiful, and the ceremony site with the benches and the huge tree to get married under. We placed many pillows on the benches for our guests to use in case they found the benched uncomfortable, but there were no complaints about them. The fire pit, while we didn't use it, had extra seating not too far away from the dance floor, but far enough for anyone who wished for a "quieter" spot. Which also happened to be next to the animals. They were a HUGE plus, and a hit among our guests as they were able to feed them apples and carrots. The groom suite and the bridal suite are beautifully decorated as well. Spacious and hidden away just enough that you can see your guests walking to the ceremony site, but they can't see you if you are wandering around. We had a private cake cutting in the bridal suite after we ate our dinner with our guests.Working with Sandy and Morgan was easy during a time that is usually pretty stressful. They answered my many questions, and gave us several recommendations. We felt welcomed and wanted. When I made mistakes from reading our contract wrong, they were gracious and never treated me poorly. From the day we first reached out to even now after our wedding they have been great with communication. We highly recommend this venue!”

“Having our wedding at The Terrace Club was the best decision ever. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and it includes everything you need. The staff especially Jena & Hunter went above and beyond to make everything so easy and stress-free. I can't thank them enough for a perfect wedding. <3”

“In town for a couple of days, stopped by on a whim. This place is awesome. Kenny was a fantastic bartender - very friendly and helpful. We tried and enjoyed some really great beer. Highly recommended. Also - got to play with 77 goats!!”

“I got the opportunity to create a Matterport Tour for this venue. It’s a great place to have a wedding ? or various other events! The pavilion is covered and very spacious. It also has a great sound system! If you love ❤️ the outdoors you are in for a treat! So many beautiful trees ? all over the property. The owners keep this place so nice and all of the buildings are amazing ? especially the bathrooms!!”

“Hudson's on Mercer is your quintessential neighborhood bar – neither exceptional nor disappointing. If you're looking for a spot to catch a football game, it does the job, but it won't wow you. Hence, it comfortably earns its 4 out of 5 stars. One of Hudson's redeeming features is its willingness to broadcast sports events. It's an average bar for watching football; the screens are decent-sized, and they make an effort to create a game-day atmosphere. If you're with friends who love sports, it's a decent choice.Live music is another facet of Hudson's charm. It adds a bit of pizzazz to the otherwise laid-back atmosphere. While the tunes are enjoyable, they can get a tad loud, making conversation a challenge. One drawback is the lighting – it's way too dark. Perhaps they're aiming for a cozy ambiance, but it often feels like you need a flashlight to read the menu. It's an odd choice, considering it's primarily a sports bar. When it comes to drinks and food, Hudson's plays it safe. The menu offers the usual suspects without any particularly unique options. However, they execute these staples well, ensuring you won't leave disappointed. In a nutshell, Hudson's on Mercer is a reliable but unexceptional bar. It won't stand out in a city teeming with nightlife options, but it's not a place you'd regret visiting either. If you're looking for a no-frills spot to unwind with friends and catch a game or enjoy some live music, Hudson's fits the bill perfectly. Hence, the 4-star rating – it's nothing special, but it's far from a letdown.”

“Pecan Springs Ranch is a hidden garden oasis tucked away in the quiet countryside, yet only minutes from Austin and super convenient. The venue and amenities are absolutely fantastic. As a fellow event vendor, I enjoyed delivering here because it is so well thought out and easy for all the event vendors to unload and set up. And the owners are super nice with a great staff as well! And they have adorable burrows. Enough said! ?”

“Little disappointed they sold RV spots for Hays Livestock Show and the didn’t close off parking, which caused access to RV spots to be blocked, some people had to wait 30 min to 3 hours until cars were moved to allow RV access. The email sent said there would be a water hook up 50 feet away but that was only for the other sites so generic outdated info. Showers were closed and then opened but cleaning caused them to close in the evening again after the show when on site people would need access.”

“First off this scenery is absolutely gorgeous! It felt like a resort. The wine is delicious and I tried almost all of them! Appetizers amazing and exotic. Probably some of the best ceviche I've had in my life!!”

“I attended my cousin's wedding at Prospect House one weekend in May. It was my first time in Dripping Springs, Texas, and my first time at this venue. The venue was very clean and modern. I can see why couples select this venue for their wedding, as it really is a blank slate to make it your own. The highlight for me was definitely the wall of flowers where the cocktail hour was held. I loved the open airiness of the space with the reception being primarily indoors and the ceremony outdoors.Luckily, the Texas hillside was in full spring bloom for flowers and colors, making for a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. I could see how in the later months of summer, when everything starts to dry out, it would turn more into a golden wheat color, which may or may not be your style. My only qualm with the space, and I do not know if this is for every event, was that there was only one bar station, which resulted in extremely long wait times and lines.”

“Super nice space to dance salsa and bachata. Good spot to rent out for a party venue. Speakers are good. We went to an event with dj Milo, good music, good vibes!”

“I held a birthday party for my husband here at Paloma. Perfect choice! They were easy and kind to work with. They food was exceptional and the drinks too. There was plenty to do to keep the kids entertained and adults too. We had our own private tent to decorate and keep ourselves isolated. Everyone had such a blast! We are grateful for the exceptional service and memories. Thank you.Kid-friendliness: They have a large outdoor area that is completely enclosed. They have a small miniature golf course, darts, cornhole, and tether ball.”

“We've been members of RP Country Club for 3 years and we love it. The staff are excellent and great at making you feel welcomed. We've rented various rooms for different events and had wonderful service and food. We really love everyone there, but especially Kelsey and Enrique. Enrique is a fabulous chef, and Kelsey makes some great drinks! The golf course is difficult, but so beautiful!”

“This is one of the more unique events centers you will ever find. A former zipline location it has a up to date and clean event section for rooms and events, Like marriages family gatherings and business corporate events. Really big. The biggest wow factor is the nest which is a is series of tree houses All with comfortable amenities but crows nests, safe but rickety sounding bridges, A lot of stairs but a ton of fun for adults and kids. The reason I gave lower marks to Service is that it's all automated check in online. You never meet the staff outside of the ground's keeper who's trolling around in a golf cart, super guy and I'm sure if there was a problem they could fix it but you never meet the staff. We will be coming back, And telling others. It is a bit remote so pack in all your food, Liquor beer anything that you could possibly one without having to make a trip. The facility does have washing machines plumbing electricity. And as I said is very clean and well maintained.Safety: Though I'm sure legally it is possible for people with disabilities there are a ton of stairs in certain places.”

“Stayed here for a much needed getaway weekend. This was my first experience here and I can not say anything bad about it. The rooms are charming and accommodating, the staff was amazing, and the beautiful peaceful setting is super. The property itself is gorgeous with plenty of places to stop you to take a selfie. To top it all off there were wild deer greeting us this morning. We stayed in the treehouse and the groomsman suite and both rooms were immaculate. The treehouse room had huge picturesque windows and all the amenities that you would need. The groomsman suite is actually pretty perfect with additional seating an arcade machine and a great patio. Looking forward to coming back again and getting even more great photos.”

“My grandsons are super excited every time I plan a jump! It's clean & they have plenty of staff watching over everything. They provide ice packs for little minor sprains. It's organized & consistently an easy trip for a Nana to do. It's a great birthday with pizza & icees & candy. No dark corners. It's all open except for a down (2 steps) arcade area. I can pretty much see the boys from the front & I love that! Massage chairs too.”

“Absolute horrible experience with this hotel. I stayed there two nights. I paid the first night through Expedia and the second one at the hotel. The next day they charge me for a third night. And when I contacted them, they inform me that they would give me a refund for the extra night that I was charged. However, not only did that not happen I was charged again for another night. I have been waiting for a call from Victoria for five days now and I still have not heard from her. I now have two additional charges on my account and haven’t seen zero refund and have had zero response from Victoria the general manager. They caused my accounts to bounce and extra fees removed. BEWARE FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD”

“Went to The Backyard to see some boxing and enjoy some blues music this past weekend. No where else can enjoy good live blues music and boxing all with the feel as if I was in my own backyard with my friends and family. Great BBQ and a fun atmosphere. Had a great Saturday!”
