“I am absolutely delighted to share my positive experience at the store. Having noticed it for a while, I finally decided to visit, and the experience was truly exceptional. Matthew was incredibly attentive and provided helpful feedback, checking in on me regularly and suggesting items. I had admired some vintage earrings during my first visit but didn't purchase them. Returning the following week, I was able to acquire them and continued with my day. A few weeks later, I returned, and Matthew remembered me and all the items I had previously purchased. I was deeply touched by his attentiveness, which made me eager to return again and again. I concur with the observations of others that it truly feels like having a personal shopper.”

“I live in Missouri, but any time I am in Sugar Land to visit my sister, I make it a point to stop by Thriftwise. If I’m really lucky, I’m there on a Thursday so I can go to the purple bag sale. Regardless when I’m there, I always find something cool, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The stores are well organized, and I don’t have to feel guilty about buying things, because the proceeds go for a great cause. Looking forward to my next visit!”

“While in Houston for work, I discovered this wonderful resale shop and decided to stop in — I’m so glad I did. The store is full of beautiful clothing, shoes, jewelry, furniture, and charming knick knacks. The selection is impressive, and everything feels carefully curated rather than cluttered.

Knowing that proceeds help support Women’s Home makes the experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you can shop with purpose and leave feeling good about your purchase. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.”

“Edit : results were a bit better than I thought and I came back to consign more. Met a nice woman in charge and left feeling better second time.

Original : Shop if you like fancy and organized. Avoid for consignment. I thought it might be a good place for placing the more valuable stuff of my mother's but after reading the rules over and over (remember - they are doing you a favor) after fighting to get an appointment because they are so busy (didn't seem like it when I got there) after filling out the forms fully, I drove through traffic to get there and some of the stuff was not acceptable. None of it was catalogued like on the sheet and basically I just went through a lot of detailed hassle to donate the small art pieces and maybe the bigger will be tracked but I didn't get the feeling. I doubt they will even label them as mine. They have rules that they can just lowball it in value and consider it a donation. Will they value higher end figurines? I will be surprised if anything gets to my mom. My advice is - don't consign here: they don't need it and it's easier just to donate to your local Goodwill. This organization has been spoiled by easy money.”

“I found WHAM while driving to the GW on the I-10. I've been there twice now, and found some interesting items. Their prices are fair and they have a constant rotation of goods and 50% off sales on different categories. Cashier and staff are very nice. The only thing I wish they'd do was open a dressing room, since you can't try on clothes and all sales are final. However, for $4 for a shirt or sweater or pants, you can't really complain too much. Their clothing does seem rather boutique and you can find some brand name clothes for a steal. They have a large selection of books ($1.50-$3) and smaller selection of CDs ($1.50), DVDs, and some games. You can also donate and feel like you know where the money is going.”

“The staff at Anawim are the greatest! We accidentally locked our keys in our truck, and they bent over backward to help us find a solution. Also, their prices are amazing! Best thrift store in Houston!”

“Extremely friendly and helpful volunteers and great finds! Found a bunch of nice china sets for my new home! They get new stuff in all the time and there are a lot of lovely items! Clothes, bags, shoes, home decor, bags, and other wares! Will be coming back soon!”

“This Salvation Army Thrift Store recently completed a remodel. It is bright, clean, and well organized. The clothing racks are too close together, so you have to squeeze by other people in the aisle which makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience. Also, prices are higher than other thrift stores I visit around Houston.”

“I love shopping at the guild. Lots of treasures! My advice is to keep in mind that things are priced more like a consignment store than a thrift store. I find the clothing and accessories to be on the higher end. Prices are higher on furs the they are on The Real Real. I have seen things like hand bags or blouses priced higher than what they were priced on Amazon or Talbots. Coffee mugs are more than at Home Goods. For this reason 4 stars instead of 5.”

“I donate to this store and shop at it as well. Their mix is always changing and there are a lot of cool items to buy in the store. And your purchases help support Habitat for Humanity! What more do you need?”

“First off there is a creepy Caucasian guy there who stares while he's supposed to be doing his work (literally at everything I did he would not stop it was very weird). Any who, the store seemed reasonably priced to me and I found some nice things. Please stop putting items in the rack with food or dirt on the clothes, that's nasty. I'm debating whether I like it, very spacious and somewhat organized just a little more cleanliness would be good. Also, the employees besides the guy I mentioned were working hard and were polite to me.”

“Family Thrift Outlet became my discovery spot when I entered with twenty dollars which turned into a complete treasure haul. The staff provided excellent service while the treasure hunt experience brought me as much joy as finding the items. I will return to this store.”

“Stopped in with my kiddos for some everyday clothing. I was happily surprised by the selection--lots of good brands in good condition. The book section had a lot of great books. It looked like there was lots of interesting houseware items, but we didn't have time to look around. It wasn't busy either, which was nice for a Saturday.”

“Goodwill has so many programs to help you level up, the way they take care of veterans should be applauded, although you don’t have to be a veteran to benefit . I am currently enrolled in the CAMPT class, Mr. Clark tries to ensure you get what you need to be successful.”

“This is the older location they have recently moved to a location on West Belfort. The new shop is so much more bigger and has a lot more room to shop. They are one of the only non-profits who actually put the money back into the community. They help people in need by offering clothes on a voucher system. They are part of a food back. The Resale shop has tons of unfound treasures and those looking for items of nostalgia as well.”

“Took my brother and they accepted him with open arms. Had mass with the whole group and it was amazing. The vibe is pure joy and gratefulness. I am so happy I found this organization!”

“Though small, this shop has a ton of character and class ! I can't wait to come back with more time so I can browse their selection in more detail They mostly have very curated items from furniture to home decor, as well as a selection of clothing and accessories. If you're looking for unique pieces for your home, it's definitely worth stopping by. This shop actually came up while I was searching for thrift stores, though I wouldn't consider it a "thrift" shop so much. It's prices are a bit high for thrifters but lower than what I've seen in consignment shops. Their prices are fair from what I saw. They also have a great pricing structure! Each item has a price tag with the starting price, as well as dates and reduced prices at that date. So everything gets discounted as time goes on - I wish more shops did this ! It also means there's always good deals and consistent turnover. The ladies working here are extremely polite and welcoming too. You're greeted when you enter and (today at least) offered water because of the heat. Other things to note: They do have a senior citizen discount There's a water bowl for dogs outside the front door which is a nice touch There's a small parking lot but also street parking For me personally it wasn't quite 5 stars, but I wish I could give it a 4.5”

“We moved from NC and have a storage full of items that no longer fit in our house. I was looking for a donation center and read on another Goodwill review that this location accepts large items. I walked in and asked, and they were extremely accommodating with accepting and assisting us in unloading. They have a good crew of employees working hard.”

“Greetings How a question ? how you guys stop sending out statements after the the lady that passed away work there for years. Noone has received statements since she die . How do you know what you owe on your house. That's seems weird of course people keep there receipts but still this 2024.”
