“Discovered this store during a quick trip to Houston. To my surprise, found the hidden gem of thrift shops. Everything is so well organized and clean- items are neat and displayed by size making it super easy to navigate and find treasures! I found an amazing $25 vintage overall for my daughter (she’s been looking for one) and found this amazing Farm Rio dress for only $7.99! I didn’t want to share my discovery but I was so impressed with the friendly staff and the goodies there that I had to post this. I might need to go back for some vintage baseball jerseys! I felt like I was at a cool vintage shop on steroids (this place is huge) on Melrose in Los Angeles! The lovely lady who checked me out even shared that they don’t take donations and all their clothes are curated and bought for the store!!! Insane!!! I’ll definitely be stopping by again!”

Matthew was incredibly attentive and provided helpful feedback, checking in on me regularly and suggesting items. I had admired some vintage earrings during my first visit but didn't purchase them. Returning the following week, I was able to acquire them and continued with my day. A few weeks later, I returned, and Matthew remembered me and all the items I had previously purchased. I was deeply touched by his attentiveness, which made me eager to return again and again. I concur with the observations of others that it truly feels like having a personal shopper.”

“This is the older location they have recently moved to a location on West Belfort. The new shop is so much more bigger and has a lot more room to shop. They are one of the only non-profits who actually put the money back into the community. They help people in need by offering clothes on a voucher system. They are part of a food back. The Resale shop has tons of unfound treasures and those looking for items of nostalgia as well.”

This was not only an easy visit, we know how to make it even easier next time. Donations create jobs and help struggling families. The center was amazingly clean. “Used to be my first stop when shopping with my girls. Management has obviously changed, and not in a good way. Fridays is supposed to be 50% furniture for members. After multiple Fridays in a row, at different times of the day, I have concluded they do not put any furniture out that is worth buying in Fridays. To be sure, I stopped in during the week at multiple times and found great items. Hate it. The cashier's are less than enthusiastic and often lack any basic manners.”

“This is a give-and-take experience - if you have a little more time to kill than you normally would in any other store you are most likely going to find some awesome garments at dirt cheap prices - but don't expect anything to be organized for what you are wanting to jump out at you - you're going to have to hunt in the aisles - and don't expect any of the people that work there to help you - they will not. And finally there are no Express lines checkouts - be ready to wait a while to check out. If you are cool with these things you are going to walk out of there with some awesome deals and some really nice clothes it is worth it in my opinion. Because nowhere else in town is any cheaper.”

Honestly it truly was! I was welcomed by the cashiers. There was two people ahead of me & didn’t take too long. Only bad thing was parking but that’s okay! I browsed around the store while they looked over my things & honestly you can find a bit of everything in there, I also saw young customers and older customers shopping. They have a lot in there! Honestly recommend selling but also buying! I’m planning on coming back with my husband to shop for him there.”

“This Goodwill is hands downs one of the best I've been too! First off the staff here alone are AMAZING...they are happy to work here...I've never seen staff be so happy to work anywhere! They were polite, professional, personable and just dam right happy! The "boutique" section is fairly large...about 4 racks maybe a few more majority of the items were 12.99 for Zara, free the people, Talbots, express, lululemon. I appreciate the boutique racks lots of great finds! I've found other great find throughout the store as it's jammed packed with items with them even bringing out more. Get ready to spend a few hours here you will not be leaving empty handed I promise!”

“Look what I found today! So I was driving home from work in heavy traffic, and stopped at this Goodwill. This place is huge and they have a lot of good stuff, this sparkly stand structure, that’s homemade is absolutely girlie and cute! Then I found a Henri Bendel handbag, they used to have a store at the Houston Galleria but it went out of business. So now it’s a vintage bag! You should come here, and see what you can find!”

He went above and beyond to help me, personally walking me through the store and assisting me in finding the perfect outfit for my interview. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help truly stood out. “At first, I was a little weary, going to the family thrift center store. As I walked inside, I noticed everything was very clean. Well kept the floors were clean children were not allowed to run free, screaming, and doing whatever they wanted to. They weren’t allowed to destroy the store.
I found many great things there. There’s just so many items that it would take an entire day to go through all of it or maybe even two days I highly recommend this store. If you were wanting to go treasure hunting it’s a lot of fun and the customer service that I had was outstanding !! Literally you cannot ask for better customer service!!!!!❤️?”
“Not sure about the other reviews but I always try to go to places despite reviews and low and behold the women working there were wonderful! Not to mention, as I was being helped with the store credit from selling my clothes, a customer walked in and yelled at her for not being able to get money for his clothes but rather a store credit instead as it was past the hours they do cash for clothes. She handled it so well. The women were so helpful and respectful as it was my first time selling to them. Also it doesn’t smell, and it took the 20 mins to go through a huge bag I brought in. I was very pleased as I just wanted to get rid of my clothing haha so I was happy to take whatever they were offering.”

“I live in Missouri, but any time I am in Sugar Land to visit my sister, I make it a point to stop by Thriftwise. If I’m really lucky, I’m there on a Thursday so I can go to the purple bag sale. Regardless when I’m there, I always find something cool, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The stores are well organized, and I don’t have to feel guilty about buying things, because the proceeds go for a great cause. Looking forward to my next visit!”
