“While in Houston for work, I discovered this wonderful resale shop and decided to stop in — I’m so glad I did. The store is full of beautiful clothing, shoes, jewelry, furniture, and charming knick knacks. The selection is impressive, and everything feels carefully curated rather than cluttered.
Knowing that proceeds help support Women’s Home makes the experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you can shop with purpose and leave feeling good about your purchase. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.”
“Love this place. Organized, clean, and they have a bingo card to give you more discounts when you shop! Check out my kitchen art collage all for under $10.00! DIY with thrifting!!”
“BEST RESALE THRIFT STORE IN HOUSTON AND SURROUNDING AREAS... Lady M with the braids in the Boutique is WONDERFUL kind caring ❤️ loving and so very helpful...”
“Edit : results were a bit better than I thought and I came back to consign more. Met a nice woman in charge and left feeling better second time.
Original : Shop if you like fancy and organized. Avoid for consignment. I thought it might be a good place for placing the more valuable stuff of my mother's but after reading the rules over and over (remember - they are doing you a favor) after fighting to get an appointment because they are so busy (didn't seem like it when I got there) after filling out the forms fully, I drove through traffic to get there and some of the stuff was not acceptable. None of it was catalogued like on the sheet and basically I just went through a lot of detailed hassle to donate the small art pieces and maybe the bigger will be tracked but I didn't get the feeling. I doubt they will even label them as mine. They have rules that they can just lowball it in value and consider it a donation. Will they value higher end figurines? I will be surprised if anything gets to my mom. My advice is - don't consign here: they don't need it and it's easier just to donate to your local Goodwill. This organization has been spoiled by easy money.”
“I love this store I shop here all the time and the employees are very pleasant and helpful and we always finds great deals … I highly recommend that you check them out if you have never been… you won’t be disappointed!!❤️❤️”
“This has become my new location. My first couple times it wasn’t a friendly experience, but I must say once we meet Ms.Angie. Wow the difference and service . Ms. Angie always tries to go above and beyond and is always so friendly . She always tries to accommodate my needs or questions. Wish everyone was as friendly as her. Thank you Ms. Angie for always making the experience for me and my family pleasurable ☺️☺️☺️”
“What a treasure trove of great furniture! There are customer service reps on hand to help with pricing, loading, and guidance. Whether you are puchasing a single item or bundling, the prices for some of the highest quality futniture is spectacular. I was in the furniture business for many years. This is worth the hunt!! Take pictures of your rooms and measurements in advance. This is a great resource for real estate staging inventory.”

“The staff at Anawim are the greatest! We accidentally locked our keys in our truck, and they bent over backward to help us find a solution. Also, their prices are amazing! Best thrift store in Houston!”
“Extremely friendly and helpful volunteers and great finds! Found a bunch of nice china sets for my new home! They get new stuff in all the time and there are a lot of lovely items! Clothes, bags, shoes, home decor, bags, and other wares! Will be coming back soon!”
“This is a very nice establishment with high quality merchandise at reasonable prices. Heather was very professional, helpful, and respectful as she helped me find a new recliner for myself at home. Thanks again Heather! FM Chandler”

“I’ve used the Salvation Army pick up truck several times over the past few years and just completed another pick up today. The process is seamless - You make an appt on line, they call to confirm closer to the date. Individuals who come are professional, courteous and pack items with care. Very impressed with the individuals sent to my home to pick up the items.”

“I've been to thrift stores on the east coast and in the Houston area and this one is absolutely tops half prices on Wednesdays and some really nice stuff cheap- the staff is as good as it gets- very helpful. After this review if you don't want to go you're a tough person to satisfy!!”

“I love shopping at the guild. Lots of treasures! My advice is to keep in mind that things are priced more like a consignment store than a thrift store. I find the clothing and accessories to be on the higher end. Prices are higher on furs the they are on The Real Real. I have seen things like hand bags or blouses priced higher than what they were priced on Amazon or Talbots. Coffee mugs are more than at Home Goods. For this reason 4 stars instead of 5.”
“First off there is a creepy Caucasian guy there who stares while he's supposed to be doing his work (literally at everything I did he would not stop it was very weird). Any who, the store seemed reasonably priced to me and I found some nice things. Please stop putting items in the rack with food or dirt on the clothes, that's nasty. I'm debating whether I like it, very spacious and somewhat organized just a little more cleanliness would be good. Also, the employees besides the guy I mentioned were working hard and were polite to me.”
“I stopped here not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. They had lots of name brand, like new items priced between $8--$12. Thus is what I expect to pay at a resale shop and that's exactly what I got. The place is small, and we'll organized. Perfect for when I want to be in and out in under an hour.”
“Family Thrift Outlet became my discovery spot when I entered with twenty dollars which turned into a complete treasure haul. The staff provided excellent service while the treasure hunt experience brought me as much joy as finding the items. I will return to this store.”

“I loved the way he was a very nice guy. Everything I needed help with he was there to help with, I would highly recommend this place ??
Excellent large selection of products. Very clean. Nice staff , me and my mom been going for years we love it.”
“Stopped in with my kiddos for some everyday clothing. I was happily surprised by the selection--lots of good brands in good condition. The book section had a lot of great books. It looked like there was lots of interesting houseware items, but we didn't have time to look around. It wasn't busy either, which was nice for a Saturday.”

“Goodwill has so many programs to help you level up, the way they take care of veterans should be applauded, although you don’t have to be a veteran to benefit . I am currently enrolled in the CAMPT class, Mr. Clark tries to ensure you get what you need to be successful.”
“This is the older location they have recently moved to a location on West Belfort. The new shop is so much more bigger and has a lot more room to shop. They are one of the only non-profits who actually put the money back into the community. They help people in need by offering clothes on a voucher system. They are part of a food back. The Resale shop has tons of unfound treasures and those looking for items of nostalgia as well.”

“Customer service was excellent. The African American lady (sorry I didn't remember her name) she was kind and patient. I had to get a price check, and the Caucasian male was very attentive and fast. I love my Goodwill store.”
“Exceptional customer service! The lady I spoke with on the phone was so sweet that it made my decision to donate here incredibly easy. I just dropped off a massive haul of gently used, name-brand clothes that are ready for a good home. If you're looking for a great local thrift store to support, this is it. I’ll definitely be back for round two as I finish up my summer cleaning!”
“Though small, this shop has a ton of character and class ! I can't wait to come back with more time so I can browse their selection in more detail They mostly have very curated items from furniture to home decor, as well as a selection of clothing and accessories. If you're looking for unique pieces for your home, it's definitely worth stopping by. This shop actually came up while I was searching for thrift stores, though I wouldn't consider it a "thrift" shop so much. It's prices are a bit high for thrifters but lower than what I've seen in consignment shops. Their prices are fair from what I saw. They also have a great pricing structure! Each item has a price tag with the starting price, as well as dates and reduced prices at that date. So everything gets discounted as time goes on - I wish more shops did this ! It also means there's always good deals and consistent turnover. The ladies working here are extremely polite and welcoming too. You're greeted when you enter and (today at least) offered water because of the heat. Other things to note: They do have a senior citizen discount There's a water bowl for dogs outside the front door which is a nice touch There's a small parking lot but also street parking For me personally it wasn't quite 5 stars, but I wish I could give it a 4.5”

“Have been to this location multiple times throughout the years and it's always maintained a proper, clean appearance and I've always felt safe. Nice friendly staff always.”
“My only complaint is that I wish there was more selection in the men's section. Everything is organized by color and size. Very clean and extremely fair prices. Easily the best and most affordable Thrift store in Houston.”
