“On 7 July 2024, after being a patron of this post for 21 years, I was unjustly refused service by the Bar Maid, whom I did not know and asked to leave without reason. I politely did so. I had not had a single drink that day, nor was I displaying any form of discord. It appears it is a personal issue that I have no knowledge of. As a combat Purple Heart recipient vet, of 22 years of service to my country I find it repulsive to be treated disrespectful in fron of freinds and comrades by some who may have been 5 years old on 911.
I received a call from the boss and we professionally rectified the issue. I am fully welcomed back. It has always been a wonderful place until last night but it's fixed and we will leave it at that. I enjoy the VET. Atmosphere and those able to speak a Veterans language without judgment it's a place of peace with the soft reminder of hell

“We don’t live too far from the bed & breakfast, but I chose it, partially, because of its location between Georgetown/Round Rock area as well as the Temple/Harker Heights area. A bonus is that it’s seclusion in the country, just a few minutes from I-35. I initially chose one cottage but because of a faulty a/c unit we stayed in the other cottage. Both cottages are identical, minus aesthetics. The change was no issue. We enjoyed the welcoming, complimentary oatmeal raisin cookies as well as one delicious breakfast meal. During our stay there were two complications for which the owners were not responsible, but they successfully assisted and were kind and considerate throughout. The other amenities all were good and there was nothing to complain about. We definitely recommend anyone to stay on the property and will likely stay there again!”

“I was surprised by the variety of snacks and drinks available at this location. also, bonus points for the functioning arcade area in the lobby! that was one of my favorite parts of going to the movies as a kid! I highly recommend the XD upgrade for action movies. the sound and video quality was worth it!”

“The people working while we stayed there were excellent. The hotel itself is clean.
The rooms are older. There isn't a microwave in the rooms, only a dorm size refrigerator with a Keurig coffee maker.”

“My stay here was absolutely great !! My hubby was lifeflighted to hosp at s&w in temple
been there for 2 wks & we actually live almost 2 hrs from temple. I had to use wheelchair & gr.kids & kids staying in shifts with me.when they were'nt able to be with me the staff took great care of me. All I had to do is call & they brought me whatever I needed. Staff & hotel made it a pleasureable stay for me.
Rooms: Rooms clean & nice.
Safety: Felt safe & secure”
“Upsetting to pay 150+ a night for a room that doesn't have a microwave or a refrigerator. I can stay at a much cheaper place and have both of those. That is my only complaint.Rooms: Needs microwave and refrigerator”

“This is a great place to have a party! I rented this place for my mother’s 60th birthday ?. There’s ample room, it’s very clean and has two bathrooms. I will definitely be renting this place again in the future.”
