“Due to my personal situation that I was forced in that i won't post publicly here on FB, i was forced to find a laundrymat to wash and dry clothes and I started seeing ads in my newsfeed for Speed Queen Laundry about getting your first wash for free, so I signed up and I went to the Speed Queen Laundry on Milwaukee in Chicago (there are four locations in Chicago, this is the one furthest north) on Sunday March 8th, 2026 and I knew it was a coinless laundrymat in advance but I wasn't sure what the cost of the dryers were and it was nice, the attendant was sweeping the floor on a regular basis and the facility was clean! You can only use the free wash on the 40 pound washers (which are normally $6.25), they have 20 pound ones at $3.60 BUT I would download the Speed Queen App BEFORE redeeming the free wash code, trust me on this as I don't want to get the attendant i had in trouble....lol, but he did say on Thursdays they have penny dryers, I don't know if one does not have a smart phone how they will pay for washers/dryers but I'm sure there could be a way, there is a laundrymat I saw when catching the bus not too far away at Belmont/Milwaukee but as I said at the beginning of this review, a free wash caught my attention of going to Speed Queen Laundrymat on Milwaukee Avenue, thanks for reading this review!”

“I use them for all my cleaning. They do good work and are very consistent. I drop off and pickup, check out quickly, no hassles. They fix buttons that get broken. They notify me if stains don't come out. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area. I am not sure why folks roast a company with one star rating on the internet over a 2 shirt misunderstanding. Not even the correct location at that.”

“Hi, my wedding dress was left at this location when it closed down, and I’m trying to locate it. This dress is very important to me, and I would really appreciate any guidance on who I can contact or how I can retrieve it. If there is a corporate office, storage facility, or any person handling remaining items, please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your help.”

“This is an awesome laundry mat. My washer recently broke and I've had to take my clothes for wash and fold. I am elderly and had knee surgery so it's hard to lift. That young lady Cindy is the best. Fast and efficient service. The place is also very clean. Kudos to Cindy!”
