“Was in Brownwood for the playoff game Friday night. 30 something degrees and this was the only store open with working gas pumps, coffee and cappuccino. Allsups and Stripes both had no coffee and cappuccino machines were broken, all their gad pumps were put of order too.Guy working at exxon was excellent and super friendly!”

“No stations in San Antonio where I live. When I travel across Texas I always make my pitt stops at an Alon if there is one. They are always clean and the staff friendly.”
“Store is small, clerks always friendly and helpful. Paula, the manager, I've known for about 40 years as a local clerk, she's great! The fuel price sign has been OUT for months now, so you have to pull through the tiny island to check fuel prices, which can be as mich as $0.30 higher than other stations during "$0.20 off events... but usually they're on par with the rest.”

“Your employees won't ask if we want to put our # in, plus if we want to they don't give us a chance to and then says we can't go back you can do it next time. Therefore I don't go there much. If you promote the points and stuff your employees should ask the customers if they would like to use it.”
“I needed water because I forgot it at Walmart. They understood. Almost 2 times more than Walmart and the gas was the highest I have seen and paid. In all very friendly and courteous.”

“Cleanest neatest big little gas station. If you are passing through Brownwood, stop at this one. They have hot food cafeteria style on a small scale but bug enough you have options.Donuts, burritos, individual cake deserts,jellos,salads etc. They also sale beer if that's your choice. There is also a clean area where you can sit ,eat and relax a bit before getting back on the road. Bathrooms have wide curved entrances so no doors required . If you are wheelchair mobile, this is a definate plus. Large large parking lot in back as this is kind of a truck stop so there are some there spending the night. Place is very well lit so no need to fear walking in or out. Other stores like this in Brownwood are ok but this one has the most for the least.”

“Had to go to Brownwood for my brother's dr appointment and took the extra couple miles to go get some chicken at Cousins. Never disappointed, really friendly workers always fresh crispy and delicious. If your looking for good chicken done right and at a convenience store look no further.- 5stars?”

“Just saw one of the sweetest things ever here, an older gentleman was having trouble standing and walking seemed confused and disoriented two employees a skinnier younger fella and a woman with red hair helped the gentleman get to his daughters vehicle... wholesome af. We need more of this kind of concern and compassion in this world”

“Good man and family, real full service experience, does windows, tire check, under the hood check upon request. Visited 3/5/25 and inquired about his Saturday hours, he stated that currently not open on weekends due to circumstances beyond his control. Great place!”
