“Never expected the true support we got from Russell and the team at the Buda, TX Austin Automotive. short story - MAJOR issue with the DEF system on my 2014 RAM. I had also scheduled an oil change. After diagnosing the issues he told me what it would cost. I explained that I had planned to trade in my truck at the end of the year (8 weeks away). He could have tried to convince me to fix it. That would have made them more money. Instead he told me that he thought with the age of the truck and what my plans were that it would be good to trade it in and let the dealership fix it as this would be cheaper for them to repair. OH AND he didn't do the oil change because, and I quote "I was worried this might be bad and I didn't want you to have to pay for an oil change on top of the expensive diagnostics we had to perform.".While it sucked for me, he didn't milk me. Then to add wonderful to the experience, he let me leave it there for two nights while I bought a new truck and got the dealership to tow it in for the trade in.
