Pet Paradise
1195 NW John Jones Dr, BurlesonAfter our groomer left our previous place and the new groomer shaved both of our dogs because she claimed both had matted fur, not the case, we took our two dogs here. The groomer did a good job on both. For our second, most recent, appointment, they trimmed one nail on one of our dogs down to the quick. She was a bit uncomfortable but doing well now. With tip, the total cost was about $250 for a mini and medium golden doodle.

V.E.T. Care Hospital
108 NE Wilshire Blvd, BurlesonThe staff and doctors are very caring and personable. From the time we walked in, to the time they called us back, Tucker (our pup) was very comfortable, and so were we. We immediately felt this was to be our new vet. Tucker and Gato seem to agree.

Countryside Animal Medical Clinic
4555 FM1187, BurlesonI came here for ear cropping on a 10 week old Cane Corso puppy. They did a great job on one ear, but then cropped the second(his left) ear incorrectly. I had to go back for them to correct it. Its still a tad uneven but looks much better than before and the repair was free.
They also posted the ears, first time was free, after that each posting was about $30. He only needed 3 postings to make the ears stand. The cost for the ear cropping alone was about $700+

Banfield Pet Hospital
720 NE Alsbury Blvd, BurlesonI was so worried trying to find a GOOD Vet, close to home in Burleson because there are a lot of shady, ignorant and just plain stupid vets in Crowley and Burleson...I had been to 4 and they ALL were Horrible!!!
My prayers have been answered with Banfield!
I am Soooo impressed (and relieved) that I found an AMAZING VET. at Banfield... Dr. Williams, Vet Tech-Ms. Michelle, and Nail Tech - Darian and the office staff was Soooo nice. Y'all were all so very kind, patient, caring, non judgemental and it was just a very very good visit. Y'all have me and my baby Flex- For Life!!!! Thank you so much!!

Burleson Equine Hospital
755 N Burleson Blvd # B1, BurlesonWe haven’t been to Burleson Equine in several years due to moving but yesterday my barrel mare started to go down pretty quickly at our barn in Cleburne. Burleson Equine answered so quickly and got a team out to our barn so fast. The exam and treatment was so thorough and nothing was missed. They took the all time with my mare while still moving quickly. Post care instructions were clear, and if needed to call again they could handle it and what to do if she does become surgical to get her to another facility. She’s doing great this morning and did not have to be hospitalized or have surgery. And to be completely honest? For an emergency barn call? The cost was NOT bad and well worth it. Very thankful for yall!

The staff at Burleson Animal Emergency hospital did all they can do to save our little fur baby to no avail.
They went above and beyond to bathe our fur baby returning him to us wrapped in a very nice blanket inside a weatherproof package ready for burial.
I highly recommend the folks at Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital.

Pet Sitting & Training

Complete K9 Training
9744 County Rd 603, BurlesonWe can’t say enough great things about Complete K9 and Heidi. We sent both of our German Shepherds for training, including our 2-year-old rescue we had only adopted about 6 weeks earlier, and the results have been incredible.
Before training, our home felt chaotic due to our new dog’s reactivity. Since coming home, the difference has been amazing. Our house feels so much calmer, and both dogs are doing so well.
What we appreciated most was how much Heidi taught us throughout the process. She gave us so much helpful education about dog psychology, behavior, and what realistic progress looks like. This is helping us better understand our dogs and feel more confident continuing the training at home.
We know we still have work to do, but Heidi gave us the tools to keep building on their progress.
We’re beyond happy with our experience and would highly recommend Complete K9 to anyone looking for a board and train program.

Is there time to put in? YES, but the rewards are plentiful!

BurlesonWe have taken two rescue dogs to group training classes and had wonderful results. The skills we learned are effective. The trainers are knowledgeable, very experienced, and not intimidated by “difficult” cases. I really appreciated the homework they gave us to reinforce our new skills. American Revelry
279 W Hidden Creek Pkwy Suite 1101, BurlesonWhat a great find. My wife and I have been big foodies for years. She happened to see the menu online and mentioned LA style duck wings with sweet & spicy glaze. I was all in. When we got there, The staff was very friendly and we were quickly seated. I saw the Pan seared halibut fillet, topped with arugula pistachio pesto, served over roasted summer vegetables of zucchini, yellow squash, cauliflower, and heirloom tomatoes, with a drizzle of Calabrian chili oil on the menu. What was going to be appetizers, turned into a full dinner. It was all well prepared, well presented, and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

Babe's Chicken Dinner House
120 S Main St, BurlesonOur server Kaden was top notch. Attentive, full of energy, and amazingly successful at reading the table and matching the energy. He will do well anywhere he goes with the work ethic and attitude I saw from him at the table. The hosts were incredibly sweet as well, all in all everyone here was doing a fantastic job with a smile on their faces.
Food is great, classic southern chicken and sides. Smoked chicken is a W, those biscuits are really where it’s at tho. Cute woodsy ambience, all in all we had a great experience.

Dulce Amor Food Truck
6901 FM2738, BurlesonApparently, this little place started out as a food truck , growing into a very nicely designed , very well kept restaurant/food truck.
It has interior seating , with air-conditioning , outdoor picnic tables and umbrellas .
I had the fish tacos with rice and beans and they gave you a little cradle with three different sauce hot sauce sauces the one that says hot is very hot. Just FYI.?the fish was fried with a bread crust….next time I may ask for GRILLED???
Saw the food I think is very good according to most of the other reviews mine was surely good. The refried beans were awesome. The rice was great..
I only gave four stars for service and atmosphere, because they refused to speak English to me.
As a native born Texan, that grew up in a Spanish ONLY speaking family , even my grandmother , who came from Mexico and never went to school, she Spoke some English.
My mother also spoke English and she didn’t even go past second grade.
My father was a naturalized citizen. He was naturalized in 1959 and he speaks perfect English. Of course he was a businessman, so he had to learn how to speak English. These are adults running in this place and the fact that they won’t speak English to me I think they won’t speak English to me because I am brown. I hope not. I hope I am mistaken..
But I definitely got attitude from the lady behind the counter. The gentleman behind the counter was much nicer, but he also refused to speak English to me. Luckily, I spoke Spanish. I don’t see how they get English speaking only customers here and maintain a business, but it is apparent from the super nice set up …that they have done very well .
so who am I to say anything??? oh I know who I am. I am a customer critiquing a business.???
It is very hard for me to believe they do that. They do not speak one word of English and that’s the way they acted towards me..
And then, when I mispronounce the Spanish word, the lady gave me attitude , more attitude?????????????????????
