I finally made it there today to pick up a bag of pine pellets, which is an excellent substitute for cat litter. Keeps the area around the litter box smelling fresh like pine. I forgot that clean rural smell of a feed store from back in the day when my parents owned a farm. Really brought back the memories. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even carry your stuff out to your truck or car. I'm already looking forward to my next trip there. I got there close to closing time and didn't get a chance to look around for anything else I might need. If you live near Haltom City, go check them out and you'll see what I'm talking about yourself. There's some home cooking diners nearby that I want to check out next time I'm in that area too. Thanks guys for the trip down memory lane.

The staff actually asked about my cat’s age and suggested a different brand that might help with digestion instead of just pushing expensive options. I liked that honesty. The store was clean, though a bit busy in the evening so I had to wait a little at checkout. Overall, decent experience with helpful behavior.

He has worked hours on another cat kid, flushing maggots from sinus cavities; he wanted to give our cat a chance at living; since cat kiddo had been fighting hard to live.
Dr Bill is a straight shooter, eye to eye he'll tell you.

We were able to order what we wanted at an affordable price. From the ordering to the delivery, everyone was wonderful. AND THE FOOD, AMAZING! Got so many compliments. Great authentic Lao and Thai food.

They have a few other frozen items and Viet bakery items, but the main attraction here are the egg rolls. These egg rolls are extremely cheap (less than $1 per egg roll) yet really tasty and make an excellent option to bring to potlucks and other gatherings. I came here on July 4 and the line was extremely long, but I assume the line is shorter on other days. I would call and order ahead to avoid waiting as long. Overall, I would recommend if you want a lot of egg rolls to eat yourself or for large gatherings.

A-1 Pho & Grill
4228 E Belknap St, Haltom CityA true hidden gem in Haltom City and some of the best Vietnamese food in DFW. The pho is the star — deeply flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, and it comes out piping hot. The portions are massive; a large is easily enough for two meals, and the XL bowl is enormous for the price. Everything I’ve tried has been excellent: the grilled chicken spring rolls have tender, well-charred meat, the grilled pork rice plates are fantastic, and the egg rolls are crispy and fresh.
What makes it even better is the value — it’s authentic, made with real care, and priced well below most places these days. The staff are friendly and welcoming, service is quick, and the place is clean. Whether you’re grabbing a fast lunch or sitting down with family, this spot delivers every time. This is my new go-to for pho. Highly recommend!
