“The Horseshoe Riverside Lodge was perfect for my stay. I had a king room. The bed was comfortable, the room was spotless and the service top notch.The location is right on the highway, but I never heard a sound. It is also, right along the Guadaloupe River. My reason for staying here was the access to the river for trout fishing. They stock the river several times during the colder months.I would definitely stay here again!”

“We stayed for our anniversary and were truly impressed. The accommodations are fantastic. We enjoyed having the fireplace, and lots of room in the Honeymoon suite. The copper bathtub was unique and the porch views of the river were amazing. Every window had a great view! The people watching is fun, especially seeing the fly fishers make their catch.The icing on the cake was the management. She called to check in to see if we needed anything the morning of our reservation. When I told her about our anniversary, she asked what wine we prefer. When I told her we're non-drinkers, she provided us with a glass of my favorite Sparkling Cider instead! That's thoughtful service you don't see much!!Even though it's close to a main road, there's lots of flora to separate it and it must be well insulated, because we heard nothing inside the cabin.Tip: It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot, with uneven pavers, so bring a suitcase with wheels if you can.”

“We stayed at this motel for one night. The cabins and rooms are located in a nice natural area. The room was a bit dated, but besides not offering a hair-dryer everything important was there. Also, there was the probably smallest smart-tv the world has ever seen inside the room (we haven't had that very often on our trips), which we liked. The premises seem safe and we enjoyed it. The staff was also very friendly and gave us helpful tips for our trip. Thanks!”

“I’m only reviewing the restaurant: FUN! As stated on their website, they serve bar food. Keeping that in mind, I was surprised with their fish tacos! They exceeded all expectations and were absolutely delicious! Three others in our party ordered some kind of burger and were disappointed, but a fourth family member ordered the adult grilled cheese and loved it. I ordered a margarita, but sent it back because the bartender had added a splash of OJ. I told our server that I would just drink water instead, but she took it away and quickly replaced it with another margarita. I told her I didn’t want to replace it for fear the second one would be just as bad, but I took a sip anyway. OMG! Sooo good! The service is great and they make you feel at home. Our group joined in on a few games of Trivia and we won second place. Our MC, “Mistress of Ceremonies”, created a great atmosphere with lots of laughter throughout the restaurant. It was a great evening!”
