“Square Inn hosted the brunch for our wedding weekend in Wimberley. It was just perfect. Marcilia and Lloyd are the most personable hosts, the kind that will make event planning a breeze and will cater to your every need with grace and ease. The food was absolutely delicious and had that home-made quality that you don't get at typical breakfast buffets in hotels. The exact type of "Inn/B&B" experience that you'd wish for! Thank you Square Inn, we will be back!”

“Great cottage, very clean, and cute, w/ a pretty view of creek; although the creek was dry in this spot due to the drought, the Blue hole park is nearby and very refreshing.”

“We wanted a comfortable, relaxing place to take it easy for a couple days. Hotel Flora and Fauna definitely fit that! The rooms were so comfortable. The property is beautiful. The rooms include so many things for a comfortable stay. We could sleep in and have breakfast and coffee in the room, using the kitchenette. (The room included vouchers for breakfast nearby, but we brought our own and we enjoyed the coffee & coffeemaker provided in the room.)The room included books and games and even a record player and some records! The furniture was all comfortable for relaxing. I even tried to go for a swim in the lovely pool, but it really was a lovely autumn day and not quite swimming weather. We are already looking forward to going back!!”

“Loved the experience, location, activities and atmosphere. The tents were amazing and our first night of the trip host Betty was absolutely delightful and accomodating to us. However we went on the trip for my birthday and the chef was out sick, so instead of the multiple course dinner and birthday cake - we had to go in town to a restaurant. There wasn't any type of discount or apology for the chef being out and the on-site team being unable to make the cuisine throughout the trip that was expected.”

“Location and service are above perfect. Lisa was especially great! We went there without our kids in 2018 and then with them this year. Both times, it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend, especially if you’re traveling with dogs and/or kids.”

“The getaway cabins in Wimberley are a great option for folks in the Austin or San Antonio looking for a quick and easy getaway. The cabins themselves are very nice. They are very cozy, comfortable, and have pretty much everything you would need.Unfortunately the site where the cabins are so not really offer much. There’s a walking trail, but you’ll be done with it in about 5 minutes. The site is close to wimberley’s town square and other parks though so that is convenient. The part that really bothered me though, is that for a cabin that is not cheap to stay at, they nickel and dime you the entire time you are there. These cabins are marketed towards people in the city, who are looking for an easy cabin getaway. Everything you would need is provided type of marketing. The reality is, you need to bring anything you would need to cook over the fire, and if you want to use any of the firewood, fire starter, coffee, etc, it’s a charge. Given the cost of these cabins are more than $300 a night on the weekends, that should be more than enough to cover the arbitrary costs of coffee, firewood, fire starter, etc.”
