“I just had the pleasure of hanging out with these guys for the better part of four days. I had issues with my car that left me stranded in Carrizo Springs and Buck's was next door to where my car was. The staff at Buck's allowed me to sit and relax without insisting that I make a purchase. Everyone was super friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and make sure that I had what I needed. For example, when my phone started to die the clerk at the front register loaned me a charger and cord so that I didn't have to actually buy one at the usual inflated and exorbitant convenience store prices. And, after the first day, when I found out that I would have to stay another day or two, I was given a ride to a local store to buy necessary supplies for an overnight stay and was then driven to my hotel. What really surprised me was that the lady absolutely would not let me compensate her for her trouble. Would not let me pay her, put gas in her car, buy her a few groceries, nothing. In this day and age, that kind of behavior and caring for a fellow human being is something that just isn't seen much anymore. And the friendly attitude, the smiles, the first-rate service, and the effort to make customers comfortable wasn't just directed to me. As I sat and watched, every single customer who came through the door was greeted with that same smile and cheery attitude as if each of them was a life-long friend who had come home for a visit.

“Amazing tacos. Although most Laredo Taco stores have a tortilla press. They use just a hand roller. Which makes waiting for your food take a lot longer. If they’d purchase one it would greatly reduce wait times. Other than staff is amazing and friendly.”
