“This was my first time buying meat from this place and all I can say is so far so good. I haven't had the opportunity to taste the quality of it yet. Will update soon.”
“Best Barbacoa in the East Side of Houston…family owned and operated for over 30 years at least from what I remember. You better get there early Saturday & Sunday morning because they run out fast!”
“Mi Tienda is the HEB mexican edition, y'all find all HEB brands plus a lot of mexican and some other central and south american brands, I usually go to the Spencer location in Pasadena TX, you should try it, definitely a different experience for a supermarket, don't forget to try the antojitos mexicanos from the kitchen.”
“Got a chopped beef baked potato and it was so yummy. My mom got a potato salad and turkey leg! She really enjoyed the potato salad. Ran inside to ask for some bread. The nice young man helped us and was very sweet.”
“It's my favorite Mexican grocery store they also sell in bulk prices are pretty reasonable and they have the best staff!!! They also have a little section where they make plates and the ladies that cook are the best food is excellent ???
It's a Mexican Sam's club ?”
“Panchos is a typical mexican cuts and products meat market, if you are looking for mexican products this is one of try place, the barbacoa on Sundays is pretty good, a little bit pricey but you can't complain if you want good products.”

“My boyfriend and I got tacos and my mom ordered a plate. The rice and beans were alright. Tacos were OK. Barbacoa was good, Al pastor was okay. It was cheap, but won't be getting anything other than the barbacoa next time. The agua frescas were absolutely delicious. My mom got pistachio, so creamy and yummy. I got the horchata and it was perfect. My boyfriend got sandía and it tasted so fresh and fruity. The real star of the show was the elote that they sell outside at the front. Honestly, BEST elote in Houston. And we got taki's on top for $6. We will be back just for the elote. The pan dulces and conchas were delicious too.”
“I personally haven't gone there for much and not to often I'm sure that I'd have rated it 5 stars with continuous visits as the service and products are good and the meat looks very good and I definitely plan on buying some from there sometime.”

“We had a steer purchased at the YMBL Auction processed here, along with a pig from Law Farms. They were prompt in processing, all cuts are pretty much exactly what I’d asked for, and the slim jim sausage is out if this world. I should have got more of them !”
“Love the food here. Very authentic and delicious, although I recommend going earlier in the day. I have been going here for years and have never had a racist experience in the least. You have to go up to the counter and speak up, that's all. They don't ask you they just wait for you to say something. I don't speak spanish and I don't look in the least bit Mexican/Latin origin and have never suffered quality of service or food because of it. Just point to what you want. The most complicated question I get is flour or corn tortillas in spanish, and I just respond in english, no big deal. The menudo here is the bomb.”

“Here you can do your shopping from fruits and vegetables to meat to make a barbecue. You can also eat inside or take away, it has a very good assortment of sweets and chocolates.”
“I have always received good service at this store. The meat quality could be a little better. I had really bad service if not racist a racist at the near by Deer Park Carniceria. I have always had friendly service at this store and will buy my meat from La Michoacana Meat Market over the Deer Park Carniceria.”
“It's a small Mexican grocery store but has everything you need to make your recipes. They have a butcher shop in the rear and a small restaurant for those quick fixes of taco and sometimes menudo. They also have a small bakery with all the tasty breads. It has lots of parking and with security. Most of the time I go there after 5pm when it's not too busy. It's a great place to shop for groceries if you don't want the hassle of Kroger's or Walmart. The only grip I have in the store is not all the employees speak English, especially the butcher shop. Out of all the La Michoacana stores around my area this is the go to store I hit up for convenience and hassle free.”
“I go in here a lot, mostly to kill time as I'm always in the area. This location is just like their other stores, They have a food counter there. l always check out the steam table before making any taco decisions. Breakfast and lunch are pretty safe times to go because the food is fresh. The meat counter has got to be the other reason people would look for this place. They always have what you need for the grill. Their marinades are popular, especially on the pork ribs and fajitas. The produce section is kept up and stocked, so if you find you need banana leaves, here you go. If you find yourself waiting on someone at Hobby airport, vgo here. I'll be there eating pan dulce drinking coffee. Happily killing time.”
“Hands down the evening crew is always so hands on and so helpful when you need something! Never a bad attitude always making you feel comfortable when shopping there :)”
“For the day now, the best person was excellent, the lady who served the food, very friendly, much better than the other short, rude brunette lady. good atmosphere and good food”
