“If I could give a million star review, I would. We had an Emergency and Jordan was very understanding and helpful in our situation, doing absolutely everything he could to help us. They even waited for the tow truck to arrive after closing time on a Saturday to help us replace our tire to drive several hours back home. I came in for a question cause I’m not a mechanic and know nothing about fixing cars they are a tire and muffler mechanic shop but still helped me out with my window not rolling up changed my brake pads and rotors for a affordable price. “This will be our go to auto shop for as long as it possibly can be. We took our vehicle there for the first time this week. Brian gave us a run down of everything that could be done and then detailed the more immediate needs. They had the car fixed up ahead of schedule and went above and beyond to make sure our tires were safe for an upcoming trip. They even put together a bag of snacks for my two kids for the road trip! “Went to 4 different tire shops in town to find a 17 inch tire for our Yukon ..... Victors tire shop was the best price for a great used tire $50 , that included tire replacement and mounting. But here comes the best part . When he was done I took out my debit card and he said sorry ..... Cash only . He explained why he can't accept credit cards , he said go get the money and pay me when you get back . What other place does that ??? Went to a store got cash and went back to pay him , we even bought him a coke . Great friendly service !!!!!! Great guy”
“Extremely pleased with the service these guys provide. I have a dually running 35’s and they were able to get me in and out in ~30 mins. Tires removed, new ones mounted and balanced with TPMS installed and put back on the truck extremely quickly and with zero issues. Fair pricing and quality service. “I have taken awhile to review Sgt. Clutch, service was over the summer, and I was testing out my vehicle over a month to see how it runs. I have had ongoing issues with my left side strut, alignment and other issues. They are so thorough, detailed and professional. I so highly recommend! “The short is Jacob Carrasco has redeemed my faith in discount tire.
They’re not the cheapest, And I bought four tires with warranties on all four. My tire ended up having a gash on the side of it that we didn’t know where it came from after about a year and a half of driving. It was pointed out to me by a discount tire tech at their Schertz location while I was getting my pressure checked after a cold storm. It was not a puncture and it was still holding air pressure, but I was worried about the integrity of the tire. The tech said that it wasn’t that deep and it shouldn’t cause any issues, but I wanted to speak to the manager.
I explained to the manager that I had a warranty on the tire and then I wanted to have it replaced because I was worried about driving on this. The manager told me that it would not be covered under the warranty and that it was still structurally sound. I left that store feeling taken advantage of and defeated.
I called at least three or four times to their corporate office waiting for a call back and never received one. I emailed them and I received an email back. I provided the information they asked for and then never heard anything again.
At this point, I was gonna give discount tire one last chance before I boycotted them for life. I thought maybe I should go to the normal store that I go to off Agora Parkway in the forum.
I explained the history to the assistant manager Jacob Carrasco, and he apologized for all the hassle that I had gone through.
Jacob was thorough, professional, and willing to help out with something that was definitely outside of my control. You can tell he really cares about the people that is serving and puts himself in their position. He has redeemed my faith in discount tire, and I will continue to be a faithful customer due to him.
Not only did I get the warranty tire replaced, but I went ahead and bought a second tire for his recommendation so they would not be uneven and then bought two new warranties.
I truly appreciate him going above and beyond and wanna make sure that he is acknowledged for his help and doing the right thing.”
“I had had a sidewall tear on a Pirelli tire mounted on a 2005 Mini Cooper S. I checked on line at a major tire retailer and in person at Discount Tire. All had to order it. I called Firestone at Randolph JBSA and had an appointment that morning for an equal or better run flat. Service was prompt, taking less than 30 minutes. I am most impressed.”

They took care of me and ill be buying my new battery from them very soon. I would have today but my groceries had been sitting in my car for 30 minutes already. Good looking out tire department. “I can’t say enough good things about the Southern Tire Mart in Schertz. On my way to work, I discovered my car battery was dead. I managed to get a ride to work, but I was stressed about how I’d be able to run errands afterward. I called the Schertz location to explain my situation, and that’s when I spoke with Ramnses, and he truly went above and beyond.
Ramnses was incredibly kind, understanding, and solution-oriented. He listened patiently as I explained my situation and offered a creative and convenient solution. He said he could send a technician to pick up my car keys at my workplace, then go to my nearby apartment to replace the battery. That flexibility made all the difference for me.
Ramnses really stood out. He treated my situation like it mattered and made sure I was taken care of without adding stress to my day. Aiden, the technician who changed my battery, was also great, very professional and efficient.
