“Read where someone was mad they don't speak English. Every person I spoke to did, though I also speak Spanish. Their meat market is outstanding. They sell organ meat, too, which we've started feeding our dogs. The tacos from the restaurant were amazing, and the refried beans are LEGIT! Unlike others, I can tell the difference between taxes and what was TAXABLE. ?♂️ When they DIDN'T have some heart and kidney available, the SUPER NICE gentleman from behind the counter offered and is BRINGING tomorrow. I'll be back, especially when it comes time to buy more chillies for my homemade Texas Bowl of Red.”
“Of all the grocery stores in the area, HEB is one of the best. The produce here is always fresh and way better than what's found at the Walmart down the street. Meats are usually cheaper, and of course they have the annual Hatch Chili event every summer. My wife is always running through the plant area, they often have some really nice plants, a few somewhat hard to find, for fairly cheap. Lunch meats and cheeses, they carry Boarshead which is really good stuff! Really great place to shop, always clean, some good prices. Only negative is the fish area, sometimes it's not like it should be. We've had a few times having the salmon patties and they weren't good when we got them home and a few times made us ill. Overall, one of our favorites stores to frequent.”

“I actually have not shopped for groceries here. This review is strictly for the Pharmacy. After a very poor experience with Walgreens, I transferred my medications here. They pharmacist on duty (I think her name was Heather?) was very kind and compassionate. She filled my medications within and hour of them being transferred from Walgreens. They were literally about to close and she was helpful, respectful, and professional. She also provided great information about the current flu season and the importance of getting the flu shot. Thank you so much! I will gladly use their services again. It's a bit out of the way, but it's worth the trip!”

“Love the pharmacy & everything else for the most part, however, the express lane cashier, Ginger, has to be the loudest, rudest & most hateful employee there. She has been so rude to me that I avoid her line at any cost. Yesterday she was telling a customer in her line something about the card device. The customer couldn't understand what she was saying & she slung it around & pushed some button then flipped it back to her & made some smart remark. I felt so bad for the customer because I know how humiliating it feels!”

“I like the layout of this Walmart with wide aisles and distinct marking locations. The problem though is understanding those location signs when you want to find items in the store or through their app. Most employees are friendly and will go the extra 'aisle' to help you, but not everyone gives you their attention or is ' more than willing ' to help. I find that the prices are very competitive and the store has a wide selection. Just be careful in the parking lot as there are those who aren't looking or don't care if you get in their way.”
