“This little Exxon station has been here since the 1980s and has always had friendly knowledgeable service. It's not uncommon for out of town Wes to come in asking for directions to the lake or one of the local state parks. The store is always clean with a deli for fast eats inside. This store sells lots of beer! Every time I go in, everyone in front of me is buying beer! I like the atmosphere around this little store. The employees and the locals are super friendly. This is the only station in town that I will buy gas at during the night hours... Why? Because the well lit pumps are located closer to the building. The new wave in gas stations is to locate the pumps 75 to 100 feet from the store and that's fine during the day, but for safety reasons I believe that the old way is better and their floor plan is laid out with pumps close to the store. The store was called Stubbies way back when. Just a little FYI for ya. I still think most folks call it stubbies.”

Whenever I'm running late and in a hurry ,it's refreshing to have this store at hand ,the clerks work hard and get you on your way.And if course,clean store and bathrooms.They just always have plenty of fresh items to go for,...so,that does help when I'm undecided at times .Just grab your friends and head on over to your local Velero and grab that smile all day long!Oh btw, almost always open..”
