The clerk is phenomenal all the way around, and I will go so far as she is THE PATTERN for how customers should feel when interacting with a business.     “This is one of the nicest and well-kept DG's I've visited in DFW. The store is always neat and clean, with products stocked where they belong and stocked nearly. Associates are always friendly and helpful; they take their time to point you in the right direction and take you there and are always willing to check on inventory or process when you need assistance. Associates are always busy taking care of the store, sticking, cleaning, ringing you out, instead of standing around laughing or on their phones.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard.     Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
