“Nice, clean gas station with quality employees who are nice to the customers. My only complaint is that they close for 30 minutes every night, I assume, to count their registers. While I understand this is necessary, doing counts shouldn't take 30 minutes in my opinion...i've worked as a cashier and manager for retail stores, so I'm not trying to be a hater lol, counting a till takes like 5-10min max ?.”

Nothing overly special about it.The Loredo taco side is good. The tortillas can be a little wierd and undercooked sometimes if they get in a rush.”

“I hit up this Valero at least 3 times a week. It's the closest one to my house that I can stand shopping at. The staff is laid way back yet maintains a professional efficiency worthy of awe if not envy. The selection is diverse and fairly priced in my opinion. Never had a complaint.”

“The owners are really nice and the staff is really nice but I just found out today that along with Mexican food that they're now starting to do Indian food. Can I get a Hallelujah? I don't even know what I got but it's delicious and it came with a really delicious sauce. Goat meat and rice. It's about time somebody in Conroe starts selling some Indian food. Today is Friday but he said typically Tuesdays and Thursdays they have Indian food. So if you're anywhere near Conroe come check it out. I don't want to have to go all the way down to the woodlands to get good Indian food. And stop by because they're so nice and help support a local business. I am so thrilled that I can find Indian food and it's extremely reasonable in price.”

Everyone is greeted with a kind word coming and going out of her store. I’ve tried for years to get someone at Valero to acknowledge her. She seriously deserves it. I wish I knew how to get through to someone. She’s an amazing employee. I’d love to see her get a little recognition.”

“I came into this gas station on the way to visit with my father in hopes they would carry his brand of smokes. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and was able to help me. After a few minutes he let me know that he will order cartons for us so when I come back weekly, I can just pick up multiple at one time. Super helpful!!!! Back story: I was going to (an unnamed store) and I was lucky to pick up 3-4 packs at a time. Since then, I have picked up multiple cartons at a time for my Veteran father. That's all he wants and that's what he will get. No hassle. Buying bulk helps with price, also! All of the employees are helpful, friendly and wonderful. Never had a bad experience! Clean store with lots of inventory! I won't go anywhere else for getting smokes for my father! I have gotten to know the employees and have grown to love them. I almost feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in, they light up- smile and say hi!, then go in the back and come back with 3 cartons. Sooooooo much easier. Love the employees and this store. As far as some other reviews on prices, this is a convenient store not the grocery store, they are a little higher but that's just business. If you want it cheaper (not convenient) go to the grocery store. They are just trying to run a business. Great store, with amazing people and my family won't go anywhere else. ❤”
“This Valero opened with quickness just after the new HEB on 1488 and they do a good job competing with the HEB on gas prices. Some days they are up - some they are down. But they are generally within a few ¢ of the HEB so its not always worth crossing the street. I have not use the convenience store - but it is rather large and the entire Valero is always kept very clean... as far as gas stations go - this is a neighborhood gem.”
