“Awesome people doing an awesome job rehabilitating and taking care of a wide variety of texas wildlife. The staff were super. We had no idea they had birds of prey like hawks, kestrels, and cara-caras. You also get to see up close sea turtles and a variety of huge dry tortoises. 4.5ft monitor lizard, rock Squirrels, and reptiles.”
“A must see attraction in Corpus Christi. It was such a great exhibit of the Art Collection of Jean Walters. We spent more time than we thought we would but it was so good we took our time just learning so much about the art. The young lady at the front door at the counter was delightful and so friendly. She was a joy to talk to as she shared her love for the place and her involvement with the mural project. If you are visiting the city of Corpus Christi stop by. I highly recommend a visit.”

“I was sick and without health insurance. I remembered the Gabbard Clinic from my stay at the Rainbow House after Hurricane Harvey. I had a great walk-in experience. Everyone there was professional. The gentleman at the front desk was nice to me. I didn't have to wait long to be seen by the healthcare provider. The best part was that I did NOT have to go to a pharmacy... I was given a 5 day course of antibiotics and some OTC medicine right then and there at the clinic. Thank you Gabbard Health Clinic for the services you provide.”

“I went here early this morning to see if I could get groceries Friday March 6th there were no people should have been my 1st clue the website doesn't say when they are available to distribute groceries however I met 2 gentlemen who were both so nice and Michael even offered me his sweet roll ❤ but they did tell me to go to the First Baptist Church on Ocean Dr so I did Thanks guys for being so precious to me that means a lot to me. Well I came back sat in a line of several lines only to receive vegetables that I couldn't identify grapefruits that were almost rotten yams tomato sauce and fish sticks I don't eat fish. Is there any food bank that offers milk bread flour potatoes rice etc something I can use???”

“This YWCA is amazing, many changes under the fabulous new CEO, friendly and professional staff, super clean facilities, 2 pools, including hot therapy pool, lap and recreational swims, many water aerobics classes, swim lessons, sauna, new equipment in the large gym, new hours - open 7 days a week, from 6.00am to 7.00pm, a varied assortment of different programs, resonably priced, and all members are very friendly. The best place to be!! I visit 6 times every week - LOVE it!!”

“Plant sale was kind of crowded and hard to move in. Fire Marshal would have shut it down in a heartbeat. Also had to wait 20 minutes in the parking lot just because nobody could move in or out. Could have been planned out a lot better. However, wife is happy with her purchases”

“Fantastic organization that provides quality care to animals that are waiting for their forever homes. I just moved to TX and am shocked by these so called neighborhood dogs roaming the streets, unfixed, infested with fleas and I have no doubt do not get heartworm protection. It breaks my heart that this is the way some people feel is acceptable to treat man’s best friend!

“Cashiers work very hard. Especially on half off Saturday. Other employees are great putting clothes and other items on shelves. Shoes should be priced not all to high. Some are in bad very bad shape. Things are alot cleaner then before.”

“This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Corpus, the prices are great usually and you can find some good random stuff. If I were to have a complaint it would be that the sales on the colored tags are not always taken at the register and just sold for the normal price. I will keep going cause the normal prices are very reasonable, but will be more vigilant about the sales percentages being taken off the designated items.”
