“Great location, lodging staff can be hard to find at times so make arrangments for late arrival. Rooms are very clean and recently upgraded. Marina is great, very helpful staff, I launch here 2 to 3 times a month. I look forward to seeing the employees, feel more like friends after 6m of use. There are several free launches in Corpus but launch is included with room and worth $20.00 when not using the lodge knowing my truck and trailer are safe.Noteworthy details: Closest launch in Corpus to Baffin Bay and lower Laguna Madre.”

“We needed to getaway and get some rest as we had just sold our old home and bought a new home. We were really tired and worn out from all the cleaning and moving that we had done. This location was great as it is in a sparsely populated area. We were only five minutes away from 10 miles of beach that we were free to walk and drive around on. There was always coffee available and the breakfast they served was very satisfying.”

“This was my second stay there in 5 weeks. My last rating was 4-star because of the dead roach at the entrance of our room, a live roach coming under the door maybe to find the dead relative and our "fresh, folded bath linens" had dead roach parts inside when we unraveled one of the towels. All that being said we thought we would give it another shot. Well let me just say that within the first 15 minutes we discovered and army of ants in our 4th floor window sill. We called the front and without hesitating we were offered the available room across the hall where we encountered not one single issue after that. The young lady even came up to bring us the new keys to the room. I don't rate a lot of hotels stays but I have to say that I covet effort over perfection. This hotel and this staff should all receive bonuses! Everyone is kind, everyone smiles and they don't walk around like it's a bad thing to take pride in their work. No hotel environment is going to be perfect but, they make up for a lack of perfection with excellent attitudes and excellent customer service and that makes all the difference no matter where you stay. Thank you to the management and staff at this hotel and we look forward to our next visit with you.Rooms: Mattress and pillows are really comfortable. “Nitin took care of us during our stay and was helpful and had great customer service. The rooms were clean and updated. They are currently undergoing a renovation, though our rooms were ready. The only thing to note is the noise from the highway, considering the hotel is right next to it, a white noise machine helps for light sleepers like myself. Overall, a great deal for the price.”

“The service from the beginning ( walk through the door) was AMAZING!!!!!! Nancy was so accommodating from beginning to end. She was a breath of fresh air and was so very welcoming. When we came in we were allowed to eat breakfast even before the regular check in time. The lady that prepared the breakfast setup was also so warm and welcoming. I definitely will stay here again.”

“To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. My husband and my son came with me to Corpus Christi to support me in walking for Suicide Prevention. Because of the Lord Jesus Christ and by God’s grace I’m still here. I’m thankful for this trip and this motel. It was clean, didn’t see any bugs in the room or surrounding area. The lobby was lit up with blue fluorescent lights. The beds were comfortable, shower (no tub) sink and toilet. Cubbies for belongings, A/C and heater (worked great). No shampoo or conditioner, but they had bars of soap for washing hands and for taking a shower. Very bare minimum but great. The TV was good, kind of hard to get the TV guide to pop up, but otherwise good selection.And finally no carpet, but wood floors (so thankful for that).The only thing I would put on here for the owner to see, is when you are pulling into the drive for the motel, there no street lights, so it’s extra hard to see pulling in.Overall, great stay.I pray that the Lord blesses whoever sees this review and those who are hurting who need help. God loves you more than you know, and He wants to free you from the shackles of sin. Call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved. In Jesus name AMEN????✝️Safety: There are cameras in the parking lot, and locks on the doors with an extra lock that locks manually.”

“For the last 8 years whenever we go to Corpus we always rented a room at Day Inn cause it was affordable & close to the beach to where we just walked out. Well this time we were looking for a room last minute & came across Sea Shell Inn. It was cheaper than Days Inn & so we gave it a try. Let me tell you this will be our NEW go to motel from now on. It has the perfect view of the beach & closer than the other one. The room we stayed in had a kitchenette so now we can save money by cooking instead of going out to eat. The beds were more comfortable & the AC was nice & cold. The owner whom my husband spoke with the next day was super nice. We are going back this weekend as a matter of fact, for my husbands birthday. This is our new spot for sure!”

“Wasim was excellent at check in! Excellent customer service. Room 405 ac was making a noise so he quickly accommodated us to another room! Very clean facility. The ONLY reason we did not rate it a 5 is because indoor HEATED pool was not heated. The sole reason for us choosing this location was because it boasted an indoor heated pool and had planned on celebrating a birthday with family and loved ones. Please fix the pool. Thank you!”

“We stayed in a Queen Junior suite with kitchenette (2 queen beds)The location was not too far from everything we were going to be doing, so I have no complaints with the location. There was ample parking on site. The pool was a little on the smaller side from some hotels we've been to but the water was refreshing and the pool was operational. The hotel staff were all very friendly and attentive, I never had a rude/abrupt experience with any of them. The fitness center looked clean and I saw multiple people use it during my stay although I did not personally make it in there to work out.The room was large, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the only thing that didn't work properly was the lock on the bathroom door but it just needed to be jiggled a little bit to stay in place. The kitchenette perfectly met our needs. The AC worked perfectly and kept our room super cold for our entire visit.The breakfast had multiple options like eggs and sausage links, one morning there was omelettes and sliced sausages, fried potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, make your own waffle station. There was a drink dispenser that had apple juice, orange juice, water and this really tasty kiwi strawberry flavor enhanced water. Along with fresh hot coffee and fresh fruit options, yogurt cups, jello cups with fruit in it, hard boiled eggs, bagel, toast, cream cheese, they had a lot of different options!Overall I am more than happy with my experience here, and if possible I would love to stay here again for my next vacation.Food & drinks: Free breakfast daily with plenty of options”
