“We always get breakfast tacos from here for our staff and they are always so good! Beef fajita and barbacoa always go hard! Their caldo de res is yum! I’m looking forward to eating it again when the weather cools down!”
“I came for the chicharrónes since my usual spot hadn't made them for today. The people behind the meat counter were friendly and helpful as well as Steve, Carlos and Sara. I was imprimpressed with their friendliness and service. They also cook the chicharrones every day, which is a plus since I like them "fresh", not day old. As an anglo, I was happy that they would let me try and speak my broken Spanish as that is the only way you can learn. I give them 5 stars”
“The most delicious food! One issue I had trouble with was getting someone to speak to on the phone. Based on their business profile, I called 3 times & the call went on for a duration of time. There was no answer & no voicemail during my attempts to have someone answer. The reason for my call was to inquire about a certain pastery. It would have been nice to speak to an employee. I hope in the near future this can be remedied.”
“Excellent facility for getting your qurbani, very friendly staff. Owner goes above and beyond for taking care of your needs. They carry show goats and high quality meat. The meat processing facility is very clean.”
“I've been coming here for years!! They have everything you need from fresh veggies to meat cuts and my favorite the tacos! The ladies serving the tacos are always so fast and sweet to me. I definitely recommend you coming here!”

“Went it to purchase cooked Carnitas by the pound. The person at both the counter and register were pleasant abd extremely helpful... especially with answering my questions and making my purchase successful. I'll definitely be back ??✅”
“This meat market is right down my block. This is my go-to shop whenever I am in need of the essentials (eggs, milk, beans, rice, tortillas, pork feet, vegetables). And they have a small taqueria inside which serves delicious food!”
“Visit Don Chepe and you will be pleasantly surprised with all the variety of snacks they have. And on weekends carnitas, barbecue, tongue, freshly made chicharronesSalvadoran Mexican tamales and they also have cornA ten for that store that is always clean and at the checkout they have a very polite lady who greets you when you enter and wishes you the best when you leave.”
“Sweet bread is good however, it seemed like they made a huge batch of bread and left it there for a long time.I was the only customer at that time and the whole sweet bread sections were filled. Some of the bread felt very tough.Customer service was good. I was greeted and thanked once leaving.”
“This is a nice corner store stocked with canned goods, spices, cleaning products, cooking utensils, obviously meat and they also have a restaurant with delicious food! I practice my Spanish when I order.”
“So, I ran in here one day just to pick up a 2 lt. Soda one day and was so impressed with the staff here. I don't speak a lick of Spanish but everyone went out of their way to help me even if they couldn't speak a lick of English! The meat there is awesome and the pre seasoned meat is amazing. I am sure they will have all your needs for Christmas dinner and more. Hope the management their knows how awesome their staff is!!!!”
“La Michoacana is a convenient stop for quick Mexican groceries and prepared foods. Their breakfast tacos are a highlight, offering a delicious start to the day. However, the fajita meat was disappointing, with an unpleasant texture that felt like it had a lot of nerve or connective tissue. Despite this, the store remains a great resource for Mexican products, making it a solid choice for those seeking authentic ingredients and flavors in a small, efficient setting. Overall, it's a good option for those looking for a quick Mexican market experience.”
“If you've never had breakfast here definitely Try It!!?The restaurant has a variety of authentic foods such as menudo, gorditas & tacos. I recommend the gorditas with refried beans, carnitas (pulled pork), queso fresco, lettuce & tomato slice. You can add cooked catus w/egg. It is really good! The salas are delicious & not too spicy. For picky kiddos there's always bean with cheese in a flour tortilla.Menudo is freshly made but I boil it again at home because hominy might be a little hard for my taste. Not sure about the meat market, meat looks good ppl should -look at the expiration dates & appropriate storage as meat NEEDS to be kept properly sealed & frozen immediately. Can't blame this on Michocana or Businesses for improperly storing meats. A lot of people mention the Ladies attitude or rude manner- I didn't get any attitude. You simply must know what you want prior to getting in line you hold up the line by not knowing what you're ordering.”
“Best steaks in town. Unmatched. I picked up a couple prime cut filets yesterday, and they were absolute butter. Great cuts paired with excellent service! Friday brisket burger special is ?, too!”
