“WOW. I'm well informed on meat and this place has more than you can believe! Met the owner Felix and was greeted with the best service. Purchased the dry aged ribeye....AMAZING! Also, ask about the dry aged pork chops you can't find hardly anywhere in the U.S. literally.”

“Glad I chose this place. I don't go to the butchers much. So I liked that they had large posters showing different cuts of lamb, mutton, beef & pork. Happily offered to vacuum seal everything. Definitely the pros & best one yet. Offered an awesome sample of sausage after purchase.”

“Everything about this place was great. I’ve been to some shady slaughter houses before where it didn’t even feel like the meat is halal, but this place was truly the opposite of it. I went to do my sons aqiqah here for two lambs. Price was fair, place was super clean, and the guy who demonstrated the process was extremely helpful. This was my first time I slaughtered an animal, so I’m happy this place set the bar. Would come again and recommend”

“I’ve been visiting Alsafa for years— in fact, I like to joke that each of my kids were practically grown on their kebab and falafel, since I bought dinner there so often, haha. I have never been treated disrespectfully by anyone here, they have always been very kind and helpful. The food is AWESOME. I highly recommend Alsafa, this little establishment is truly a gem.”

“Love this market. When I moved to Texas it was hard for me to find my oxtails, pigtails etc. the meat we use often in Caribbean culture but they have it. They also sell things like dried sorrel, scotch bonnet etc. Sundays mornings are extremely busy bc they sell cooked food but other than Sundays there isn't usually a wait!”

“My favorite place when I crave the plate of chile relleno with rice and beans. The only thing I am disappointed all the plates of a variety of food prices raised.”

“I gotta say, that I love this place. Feels like home. But ever since I bought a variety pack of paletas from la michoacana, things haven't been the same. I feel like a stranger, sometimes even lost. There are blue ones in it so I thought they were blue coconut, but they are bubble gum. WHO TF LIKES THE TASTE OF BASEBALL CARDS....”

“This is a nice corner store stocked with canned goods, spices, cleaning products, cooking utensils, obviously meat and they also have a restaurant with delicious food! I practice my Spanish when I order.”

“If you've never had breakfast here definitely Try It!!?The restaurant has a variety of authentic foods such as menudo, gorditas & tacos. I recommend the gorditas with refried beans, carnitas (pulled pork), queso fresco, lettuce & tomato slice. You can add cooked catus w/egg. It is really good! The salas are delicious & not too spicy. For picky kiddos there's always bean with cheese in a flour tortilla.Menudo is freshly made but I boil it again at home because hominy might be a little hard for my taste. Not sure about the meat market, meat looks good ppl should -look at the expiration dates & appropriate storage as meat NEEDS to be kept properly sealed & frozen immediately. Can't blame this on Michocana or Businesses for improperly storing meats. A lot of people mention the Ladies attitude or rude manner- I didn't get any attitude. You simply must know what you want prior to getting in line you hold up the line by not knowing what you're ordering.”

“So, I ran in here one day just to pick up a 2 lt. Soda one day and was so impressed with the staff here. I don't speak a lick of Spanish but everyone went out of their way to help me even if they couldn't speak a lick of English! The meat there is awesome and the pre seasoned meat is amazing. I am sure they will have all your needs for Christmas dinner and more. Hope the management their knows how awesome their staff is!!!!”
