“It's a standard Tom Thumbs, which is to say it's a Vonn's/Safeway located in Texas. Same brands, including the usual Signature Select from the Safeway chain. There is a small Starbucks in the store which has a more limited menu and closes a few hours before the main store does. There is a good sized produce/deli section which has a large amount of different produce and nicer cheeses/deli meats etc”

“I have heard about Costco for years, but have not had an occasion to visit until now. I was not really sure what to expect. I have not been a member of a warehouse club for many many years. I have never really been into buying in bulk and finding a place to store it in my home. While I was definitely impressed with the pricing and layout and high-quality of items offered, too many of their brands are not what my family uses. Also, since my home is so much smaller now than it used to be, I do not have a place to store these giant containers of products anymore. If you do have a large family or a business, this is definitely a place that you should shop at. For my family and myself, this just does not work for us.”

“I don't get gas here often, but I have a lot of points I want to use. The ONLY issue that I have come across is if you use a credit card at the pump, it takes $150.00 regardless of the amount you buy. On two occasions, I was not refunded the amount for 5 days. These days, that's a lot of money to be left hangin' out there. Had to call them 3 times to get the issue resolved. Purchase was made on Monday and did not receive reimbursement until Saturday at 2:00 am.”

“Exxon at midnight is very convenient at the corner of Stemmons Freeway (IH-35E) and Inwood Road on the northwest quadrant. Not many places are open at that time of day. This store has more than just the basic items typically found in such a location.”
“This is where I get gas and occasionally shop. The process is very streamlined. Scan the QR code, pump and your receipt is generated and housed in the app. Inside, I use scan & go. Very convenient. This is the only way I shop now.”

“I've read the other reviews but they don't reflect the REAL business. Marino Shell is a gem. Yes, the gas is higher because they have very expensive real estate and they offer three full-time mechanics on site who can do just about anything. Yes, those guys -- who have all been there for 20+ years -- can be grumpy but they have hearts of gold. When my car wouldn't start and I had an emergency, they dropped everything and came and fixed my car in my driveway. If you need your butt kissed while you're getting gas then go somewhere else. If you need someone who understands cars and how they work and can fix almost any problem, go to Marino. I think these guys are terrific!”

“Love getting gas here. It's usually not too busy (unless it's the weekend!), and the price is significantly lower than most local gas stations.
My only complaint is the number of folks who wait in line and don't pull up when someone vacates a pump. I wish the attendants were more mindful of directing folks to pull up to empty pumps. (There are literally signs that show where the open pumps are, so there's no excuse other than people not paying attention.)”
