“It's a standard Tom Thumbs, which is to say it's a Vonn's/Safeway located in Texas. Same brands, including the usual Signature Select from the Safeway chain. There is a small Starbucks in the store which has a more limited menu and closes a few hours before the main store does. There is a good sized produce/deli section which has a large amount of different produce and nicer cheeses/deli meats etc”

“I have heard about Costco for years, but have not had an occasion to visit until now. I was not really sure what to expect. I have not been a member of a warehouse club for many many years. I have never really been into buying in bulk and finding a place to store it in my home. While I was definitely impressed with the pricing and layout and high-quality of items offered, too many of their brands are not what my family uses. Also, since my home is so much smaller now than it used to be, I do not have a place to store these giant containers of products anymore. If you do have a large family or a business, this is definitely a place that you should shop at. For my family and myself, this just does not work for us.”

“I don't get gas here often, but I have a lot of points I want to use. The ONLY issue that I have come across is if you use a credit card at the pump, it takes $150.00 regardless of the amount you buy. On two occasions, I was not refunded the amount for 5 days. These days, that's a lot of money to be left hangin' out there. Had to call them 3 times to get the issue resolved. Purchase was made on Monday and did not receive reimbursement until Saturday at 2:00 am.”

“Air pump only takes quarters (min $2) as of today 10/17/2023. It works but is weirdly located. Otherwise there’s also an air pump down the avenue across the US 75 at Chevron with a McDonald’s.”

“There are about 2 or three staff members that are are always so welcoming and helpful, but on I need to mention is SHUN D!!! I am a female who often shops in the area, and most of the time feels safe, but one day encountered a male who had followed me into the parking lot with his car (I was on foot, and with some scratchers. If you’re a woman, you can relate to that intentional stare/follow and “inconspicuous” looking round. The first time I really had an experience with her, I had to (without making too much of a scene) notify through the microphone to Shun D, with absolute dependency, to watch the man (“behind me”) who had followed me in and was “rummaging” through sandwiches with a side eye. The ONE time I hadn’t been able to visually locate security, but she handled the situation wonderfully! She scoped for back up while engaging my fake conversation. She made a huge impact on me that night!I was so focused on watching my surroundings and making it home, I hadn’t the ability to remember the name she gave me when I left. THANK GOODNESS I came in on her shift tonight, and not only did she remember me, but my partner who had come in separately!!!Express has got a great one in her. Thankfully, I can’t say I would have had a life changing or life ending experience, though I am inclined to believe so, all because Shun D was there this time!! So glad I got the chance to be a customer of her again, and beyond that, she had full recollection of MULTIPLE angles of experiences my household has had ?Thank you Shun D!!!!! Seriously!”
“Open 24x7 -Thank God! Ask the 7-Eleven locations in Dallas seem to close at midnight which makes things difficult if I need gas or cigarettes late. So frustrating. But this location was open and very clean.”
“I've read the other reviews but they don't reflect the REAL business. Marino Shell is a gem. Yes, the gas is higher because they have very expensive real estate and they offer three full-time mechanics on site who can do just about anything. Yes, those guys -- who have all been there for 20+ years -- can be grumpy but they have hearts of gold. When my car wouldn't start and I had an emergency, they dropped everything and came and fixed my car in my driveway. If you need your butt kissed while you're getting gas then go somewhere else. If you need someone who understands cars and how they work and can fix almost any problem, go to Marino. I think these guys are terrific!”

Clean, well-stocked, and friendly, this is a convenient place to stop if you're heading in to Dallas from Mesquite. “Love getting gas here. It's usually not too busy (unless it's the weekend!), and the price is significantly lower than most local gas stations.
My only complaint is the number of folks who wait in line and don't pull up when someone vacates a pump. I wish the attendants were more mindful of directing folks to pull up to empty pumps. (There are literally signs that show where the open pumps are, so there's no excuse other than people not paying attention.)”
