“This is a great quick fill-up place for gas, but like many other establishments it is not very good for diesal. There is only 1 (2 sided) pump with diesel. It is separated from the primary row of gas only pumps, but because it also has gas it attracts ignorant drivers like honey attracts flies. This often creates a situation where 2 cars force a 3rd vehicle to wait while the entire main row of pumps sits empty. That is not on the facility though, and they are one of few Kroger locations to have diesel at all. The location is easy to get in and out of from northbound Beltline, but does require driving gymnastics from southbound Beltline. Northgate is similarly easy access from westbound and difficult from eastbound. Plan your trip and come in an easy way.”

“I've been goin to this place for many many years. I absolutely adore the elderly man who's been working there as long as I've been goin. He's the nicest, most polite man you could ever hope to have interactions with. Some of his family members also work there and they're just as nice and polite as he is. I give this place 5 stars easily for all of them alone, but having the cheapest gas and cigarettes plays a part in my review as well.Well, I'm not real sure just how long ago I did my 1st review of this place but howevr long its been, I can honestly say that nuthn has changd xcept mayb the lil elderly man has gottn evn sweet. I swear, I'd go in there every single day just to see him cos he's one of those ppl who simply make u feel good just by sayn hi to ea othr and seein him smile. “I have lived across the street from this Valero and food mart for 6 years. They have a little bit of everything you may need or want. The owner is always kind to me and even stocked items I have asked for. They started stocking some clothing items which have saved me from having to get an Uber and go shopping to get what I need. I highly recommend this great little gem.”

“The service is always great amongst staff but the vagrant population that lingers outside often can deter shoppers especially late at night. I've experienced individuals trying to force their presence upon as I fuel up, as well as me exiting the building to do simple tasks to my car. It's unnerving.”

“For E85 people - it sent my car from 70% to 77% in half a tank, which means it was putting out 83%-85% pure ethanol, which is pretty great for DFW.The pump does take interminably long to take your card, and does NOT have tap to pay, AND if you pump a little to do a glass ethanol test and wait more than a minute or two, it will shut you off totally, wasting whatever fuel discount you had on that pumping.But I forgive all those sins for 85%, you judge by your own standards.”

I appreciate the abundance of options however what makes this place shine is #1 the employees are incredibly pleasant and friendly, the gas is always cheaper than anywhere else nearby and they have the most amazing little Mexican counter restaurant there called El Tamalito!! The young girl running the place is super friendly and her food is amazing, her area is clean and everything is made fresh. Try anything you won't be disappointed.”
