“It's rare to visit a doctor office and see such genuine care for the patient. We were very anxious leading up to our cat's surgical consult but the moment our guy met Dr. Lange, we knew he was in good hands! Everyone was incredibly friendly and patient with our questions. Halloween looked great when we picked him up after surgery, so I knew they took great care of him in recovery. If you need care for your baby, I highly recommend DVSC and Dr. Lange!”

“I have been taking my pets to Midway Hollow for over a decade. appointments are super easy. The staff is ridiculously warm and caring. The doctors I all trust completely. My last visit gave me sticker shock. My cat had a sprained paw, so an x-ray was definitely needed to see if there was a break...but $170.00 for one? With visit, antibiotic for a paw puncture, pain med, x-ray, and I was presented with a bill for $392.00. I felt victimized. They have this huge renovation going on with the office. I guess I am paying for their new wing. Disgruntled client.”

“I never write reviews. We went to the Dallas Animal Urgent Care on LBJ & Preston on a Sunday morning. Our dog had tore his back toe nail out so that it went under and stuck into his paw . He could not walk and was in pain. This had happened Saturday, the day before, but we hesitated to go to an emergency vet because we have gone to one before and it cost over $1,000 !
We called first and they were very nice. We walked in and immediately were checked in and put in a room. Within 15 minutes a vet ( not a tech - I asked if he was a vet)came in and we discussed the situation . They took my dog back , fixed his toe, showed us the nail , and discussed after care .
We were in and out in one hour! It cost $130.00 dollars.
We were extremely happy with the entire situation , the care, the people, and the outcome.
For that reason- I wrote this review !”

“I am always hesitant about vets and doctors. Especially vets since pets can’t talk to you. Since day 1 I walked into this office, they seem friendly and caring. What really got me to post this review is my fur baby is my everything. He is very complex and impossible to tell if he’s sick. The vets dealt with me pushing back when they weren’t finding the answers and they never chose the expensive route. They asked me what my opinion is and I’m like well crap I’m not a vet so I don’t know. I communicated very openly about how my fur baby is a pain in the butt for me although he’s an angel for them from what I hear. They never chose the most expensive answer even tho in my gut, it’s what I wanted. They found better ways around it. We caught one thing super early that the test came back negative, but I persisted so much that they took it one step further, no added charge. And they found the issue. I was super open with them and probably over called them and updating about what issue is better versus which is worse. I’m glad I trusted their judgment. It was one heck of a 2 weeks (we had a few things going on at once), but with their kindness and listening, my fur baby is back to normal.
I’ve even left him here multiple times while I had stuff going on at home. He wasn’t happy about being left there, but he just doesn't like to leave his home. This office is fantastic, but if you know something they don’t and you’re certain something is off, they will help you find the solution and are happy to help.
They also saved my butt with the vet notes so I could submit claims to my pet insurance for everything. After all my claims and medicated food versus medications (no, they don’t over mediate pets either), my pet insurance came and helped reimburse me a good amount.
Thank you to the staff so much for the patience and honesty of everyone in this office!
Remember, if you don’t know, a customer would rather be put on hold to get an accurate answer, not a guess. That was a one off thing but I wasn’t mislead once I asked too many questions. The vet techs are very willing to “dumb”’things down (my verbiage, not theirs) so you’re confident in what you’re giving your pet after you leave the office.
Trust to take your pets here. As long as you know your pet and can help speak up, it helps the vets make a better diagnosis faster without doing expensive tests if there’s another option!”
“I’m extremely particular about who I trust with my dog, and Rutherford Veterinary Clinic has exceeded my expectations every single time. From routine visits to bigger procedures, I’ve always felt confident that Olaf is genuinely cared for here — not just treated, but truly looked after.
Dr. Woolley is truly the best — she is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in Olaf’s well-being. I never feel rushed, and all of my questions are answered thoughtfully, which gives me so much peace of mind.
Olaf was also neutered here, and the entire experience was very positive from start to finish. The communication was clear, the care was excellent, and I felt reassured every step of the way.

“We loved our experience with AEHNT. I am a full-time petsitter, and had a dog show the beginning phases of a bloat/GDV episode. The staff was so amazing and didn't treat me like I was crazy with the symptoms that I presented to them.
The dog I brought is a protection dog who hates the vet. They provided me a muzzle to put on him in the car. Then they were so respectful of him, his space, and his boundaries. They didn't show fear or anxiety towards him.
They were sure to do thorough testing and reassured me that all was ok. They helped me to make informed decisions for my client.
I highly recommend them if you have an emergency.”

“Finding a vet you can trust is hard! We have a senior cat who has had a multitude of issues. Vickery Place was amazing at addressing our concerns, being available to answer our questions, and never once made me feel as if I was overreacting to the little things. When he needed surgery, they helped us find the right vet for the job and were a huge support in recovery. They helped us with our new puppy as well. They were often able to help us find time last minute, even when it was for a kitten I found on the side of the road who desperately needed care! We have since moved out of state and I miss the care and kindness they gave our pets and us.”

“My only complaint is that I didn’t bring my fluff ball here for her very first vet visit. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in.
Dr. Lindsay West is a veterinarian whose passion is clear as day! I first came in because of a minor pet scare, and she was so informative, transparent, and patient. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything, especially when I was anxious about my pup.
I’m so grateful to have found a clinic that treats both pets and pet parents with this level of care. My fluff angel is in the best hands here ?
Pricing is reasonable and transparent, they share the breakdown and let you know ahead of time if additional services might be needed.
