“Dr. Nelson and his staff are a very caring and compassionate group of folks. We were visiting family in Grand Prairie as part of a cross country RV trip when our cat became very ill on a weekend. The vet fit us into his schedule at the very first opportunity on Monday. The vet tech, Kia, was compassionate and skilled when examining our 19 year old cat, Sammie. Dr. Nelson recommended a course of treatment that worked very well for Sammie. The day before, he was so sick we thought he might die overnight. Since our visit last week, Sammie has made great improvement. Of course he is a 19 year old cat, so there are certainly no guarantees of him returning to and staying at full health for long. But Dr. Nelson has given him a chance and my wife and I are grateful.”

“I’ve been bringing my pets to this clinic for over 15 years, and I truly love the staff—they’ve always been caring, patient, and dedicated. However, over the past year or two, I’ve noticed a significant increase in pricing. There are now additional fees, even for quick tech visits that only take a few minutes, such as administering a simple shot.
It feels like there has been a shift in management, and the clinic may now be corporately owned. Unfortunately, that change seems to be reflected in a stronger focus on profit rather than the client and pet experience.
That said, the heart of this clinic is still its staff. I sincerely hope leadership recognizes the value of their hardworking team before it’s too late, because they are the reason many of us have stayed loyal for so long.
