Arbors of Denton

Apartments
Hours: Arbors of Denton is an affordable apartment community close to the University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University. It offers modern one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with in-unit washers and dryers, free high-speed internet, and amenities such as a pool, fitness center, and sports courts. Its location near Denton’s downtown and several bus routes makes it convenient for students to get to campus and enjoy the city. Many residents appreciate the friendly front desk staff, including helpful leasing agents and maintenance teams. The maintenance team, particularly team members like Dennis and Roger, respond quickly—often within 24 hours—and are known for resolving issues efficiently, even replacing appliances when needed. Residents also enjoy the well-laid-out units and the community atmosphere, though some mention that units can show some wear and tear. However, experiences with management have been mixed. Several reviews highlight frequent managerial changes over the years, leading to a fleeting sense of community and difficulty in reaching staff, especially during move-in and move-out processes. Issues such as towing, apartment flooding, and AC problems have been reported, with some residents feeling that initial responses from management lacked empathy or professionalism. Nonetheless, staff members like Heather and Teddy are recognized for their genuine care and helpfulness, often providing solutions and showing understanding during challenging situations. While some find the community activities somewhat insincere—more focused on marketing or renewal efforts—residents value the safe environment, proximity to campus, and the helpfulness of the on-site staff. Overall, Arbors of Denton is seen as a decent place to live for students, with good amenities and responsive maintenance, but management experiences can vary.
