Briana is such a warm and welcoming young lady. Her friendly smile ? can brighten a person's day. From the moment I walked in she greeted me with hergreat smile and showed eagerness to assist me. I have to add she is great at multitasking as well by helping me and others that were waiting at the same time.
This store location is like no other that I've shopped at. Amazon returns at the front of the store rather than the back is a very good idea, thank you. Your store is bright, neat and organized. Other store managers should see your store and and mirror theirs to yours. Great job.”
“We were fortunate to have Steve repair our washing machine. Working with him was a great experience. He is knowledgeable, personable, efficient and terrific at communicating schedule updated time of arrival (which is very important when you have an entire day appointment schedule) Couldn't ask for better service. “On 7/22, my husband and I went to Dillard’s to purchase a comforter for our new king-size bed. We had just bought a new house and our first king sized bed and were excited about our purchase. Without checking the bag—something we didn’t think we needed to do—we bought the comforter and left. Two days later, when our bed arrived, we opened the bag to place the comforter on the bed, only to find that it had stains and appeared to have been used.
The next day, my husband returned to Dillard’s to exchange the comforter, but he was told that they couldn’t do anything about it. The store insisted they would never have put a stained comforter back on the shelf and even insinuated that we were lying. We were appalled by this response and couldn’t believe what we were hearing. The lady over that department was so rude. We don’t know how this comforter ended up back on the shelves, but we are not responsible for the store’s mistake. We are honest citizens and would never do the things they implied.
I refuse to let $108 go to waste. Dillard’s needs to either refund our money or provide us with a new comforter. This situation is unacceptable, and I expected much better service. I have never been treated like this before. I am so tired of dealing with this mess.

I spoke with the store manager Jason and he was able to fix my issue so I thought I come back and edit my review. Still not giving a 5 star because this whole process was stressful and the lady we spoke with was extremely rude!! Glad everything was handled though :)”

“It's a decent store, not as nice as some but better than others. I am a little weirded out by the loss prevention guy with curly hair that follows me all the time.... I think it stems from when I would go with my late mom, who had a stroke, and would literally spend 2+ hours there lol. But like dude, I don't steal. I like to browse. Target has some neat stuff! And my momma takes FOREVER to shop because she loves Target, and Decatur doesn't have one! So she spends her time in there! Lol but bro, please, stop following me. I'm not who you need to be looking out for. Lol but, do your job bro, good on you. I am not worried about the watching, lol but just know I see you sir lol ?”
“I like this store has variety of items that I can buy, I go there almost every other weekend, sometimes the lines are to busy but that’s understandable, good prices ?saves me money ?”
“I really want to give my local JCPenney store business but they are the ones not making it worth shopping there. I go into the store on a regular basis to see if there is anything I want to purchase. I frequently find something to buy but when I go to the JCP app it's half the price of what I see in the store. Today I found a sports coat that was on sale for $47.00, I go on the JCP app and the exact same sports coat is $23.00. I've asked many times if the store could match the price from the app and many times they say "no, we can't". It's sad, I see the store and I know they need business but when you can't match the price of your own app, that's a big problem. I, the customer now have to go out of my way to purchase it on the app and have it "shipped to store" the app even says the Denton location is only 1 of 2 stores that carry that coat. Yet I can't even select "pick-up in store". This needs some work y'all. You have all the tools to make a great customer experience, it's just the dots aren't connected.”

“I was looking for one white plate. I went to back of store behind all the Christmas doodads. There it was ...one white Martha Stewart plate, for 99 cents! No others. Just one waiting for me! Not too light or heavy. Well designed.”
“This Penney's store is great. They've just done some remodeling, and it's very clean. I never have a problem getting waited on. I buy a lot of clothes, shoes, and purses there.”
“All I wanted was sliced pineapple in containers near the veggies but then I found creme for pumpkin pie, fresh cranberries, onions and celery. I love scanning, bagging my food myself. So efficient. This is a great neighborhood Walmart and the wheat tortillas are well made. I buy brown eggs here because I love brown shelled eggs. Also, customers quick to help if you are short, have little arms and cannot reach the top shelves or way back where the whipped cream is at. Texas men have marvelous manners and upbringing. Thank you Texas gents for helping me reach those items too high up!”

“Every time I go into this store the Manager Keith store#7050 always seems to go out of his way, and an extra mile to help me, and I see him helping other people to. These days we need people like that. Some get overlooked, some is tolerated, and not celebrated. But this Manager the way interact with his customer & people in general needs to celebrated. He goes beyond. I need water and they didn’t have it in the shelf yet, the shipment just came, but went out his way to get me 2 gallons of Purified drinking water. I APPRECIATE him so much!! Keith if you see this please keep doing what you are doing, because you are making a difference. God will surely REWARD you! Thank you for you willingness to go out your way for your customer’s. You are CELEBRATED!!!!”
“It has everything!! I can go into Walmart with some weird product in my head and it is there! Plus it is clean and the majority of basic things are at really low prices.
I went to Denton to tour a university with my son. I found out I could spend the night in the dorms! How fun but had to get the essentials like towel, blanket, shampoo, condtioner, and more. Found it all and spent 24 bucks or less! Love it!”
“Nice and clean store. Great inventory. However, they need to hire some employees because they CLEARLY have a shortage. Line literally was 40 mins long. The line is long every time I come here..it’s ridiculous. PLEASE hire more people so that the flow of the store could move better. They don’t even have people assisting on the floor! Just hire…it’s like they refuse to or something”
