“My voicemail had a glitch and would not accept messages for the past 6 months. I tried calling Verizon and could not get past the automated "help." I went to the Denton Verizion store on Loop 288, and Shea (a real human) patiently worked through the problem for me. He fixed the error, and I now have a working voicemail service. He didn't make me feel like an incompetent idiot either!! YAY SHEA! THANK YOU!”

“It's a decent store, not as nice as some but better than others. I am a little weirded out by the loss prevention guy with curly hair that follows me all the time.... I think it stems from when I would go with my late mom, who had a stroke, and would literally spend 2+ hours there lol. But like dude, I don't steal. I like to browse. Target has some neat stuff! And my momma takes FOREVER to shop because she loves Target, and Decatur doesn't have one! So she spends her time in there! Lol but bro, please, stop following me. For example, being told my ordered equipment is out for 3 months when it was in a back room. “I really like the bedroom set I ordered, but the glass top dresser and night stand has proven to be dangerous and light in headboard hard to use. I have to hit light fixture over and over to turn it off, but the doozy is the incedent that happened while I was asleep. The glass on my dresser suddenly exploded and glass was all in my bed from the explosion. In the video you can still hear the glass crackling.”

“I live two blocks from this 711 and have been going here for years. There is an older gentleman clerk who smokes cigarettes who has worked there for a long time, and always gives me good service. Considering this location is behind the jail, and is overrun by homeless folks, the older clerk has incredible patience. I am surprised he has been able to tolerate such a job, Considering the rude people he is routinely dealing with.On the downside, this clerk works the most and does it all, and sometimes he has to close the store late at night, because he works the truck all by himself.Frankly this guy is a rare gem of a person, and deserves a big raise and better position.He has to be over 50, and the place is family run. And not one young man comes to help him stock the store he does is alone.Do consider this before you talk bad about him, think about his work and customer service ethics.Thanks for everything 711.”

“This is a great 7-eleven! The men here at night made my day! I came in to get a free drink and to get gas. The gas is great It lasted me more than any gas would. Secondly I decided to get lottery scratch offs and I remember a customer trying to block me from getting some and said “it wasn’t worth it” the man behind the counter said don’t pay attention to him. I bought one for $5 then won $5 back, got another for $5 and won $20 which was amazing. They are so friendly and just great people. I wish the 7 eleven near my house was that friendly !”

“I stop in here every week a few times to get a few things for work to snack on. One thing I like is they have not had much turnover. Same people. The guy names Rok is a great asset and talks to me every time I am there. It's clean and the bathrooms as well. Gas prices are not lowest but not bad either. Consistent and fast service.”
