“I am so glad I found Joel. Needed someone close for a transfer, and he was close. The whole thing was seamless. I ordered on Wednesday, it shipped on Thursday, and I picked it up today on Friday. Easy to find and very nice guy to deal with. I love dealing with local, none conglomerate stores in Texas. This is my new go to place. I was also able to pick up a nice sized jar of fresh Honey. Two for one stop.”
“Customer service was magnificent! Justin helped me pick out my first pair of hoka shoes and he did an amazing job. He recommended inserts for my plantar so here I am giving them a whirl! You do have 30 days to come back and switch inserts to a different brand if you don’t like them. I really loved the feel of my hoka shoes and the support on my inserts are just what my foot needs for my all day standing job. I wore my new shoes out the store, super comfortable! Come see Justin for his amazing help on your next pair of new tennis shoes!”
“Very good experience, all the clothing items were nicely priced. Store was very well organized, and staff were ready to help. But the staff need to make customers try on the clothes INSIDE the fitting room and not in the main store, it creates a very awkward environment. Otherwise this store is pretty nice”
“Dancers’ Happy Place!!! This is hands-down the best spot to buy dancewear if you live in the League City, Friendswood, Clear Lake, or Kemah area! The staff is incredibly helpful and always makes sure you find exactly what you need. The merchandise is high-quality, and they carry a great variety of dance brands that are not only stylish but also durable. It has definitely become my go-to place for dancewear and I’ve even found the perfect gifts for my dancer here too!”
“Very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. They even surprise me by suggesting not restring one of my rackets because of being outdated…. That never happens these days!”
“I really love this place. There's no pressure to buy anything—they're genuinely focused on helping you. I went in looking for a specific pair of shoes they didn’t have, and instead of trying to sell me something else, they kindly suggested other places where I might find them. My friend ended up buying a pair, but I never felt any pressure. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and honest. It’s refreshing to shop somewhere that truly puts the customer first”
“About to take an Alaskan cruise, in a week and stopped by the Columbia Factory Store in Texas City to check on a raincoat. I found the Nordic Point FS Interchange Rain Jacket that I really liked. It has layers you can take out or put in the jacket, depending on the weather. They didn't have my size, but they did have the right size for my girl, so we bought her one. Found her's on the Clearance rack and got a $230.00 jacket for under $60.00. Perfect fit and her favorite color. Talia (the Store Manager) was helping us, and she volunteered to call another location in Cypress, TX to see if they had my size. She called, they had it in stock, so she had them set it aside for me to pick up the next day. I can't brag enough on Talia @ the Texas City location; she went above and beyond to help us find a rain jacket for me. We looked at many options. She went into the back and located a few possible options for me, in case we couldn't find exactly what we were looking for. Way to go Talia!! Very professional, and great listener and very, very helpful in trying to solve my needs. Hats off to you!! I went to the Cypress store the following day, and told them there was a raincoat that was being held for me, and I was ready to pick it up and buy it. They gave me the coat, and it was a Women's XL (wrong coat), whap whap whaa. Natalee heard of my situation, and she took it upon herself to go look around to see if she could find my raincoat. She did. They had put my raincoat, in the back, with my name on it, and she found it for me and needless to say, I was ecstatic when she came out with the right, XL Men's raincoat. I thanked her profusely and paid for it, immediately. I want to brag on Columbia Factory Stores, on Talia and Natalee. Never have I been more impressed with the customer care these two have shown over the last 2 days. The prices were beyond fair, and with other discounts in place, just great deals. Thank you, Talia and Natalee, for a job well done!! You BOTH deserve some kind of recognition for going above and beyond to make this customer a happy one!! Thank you. Thank you!!”
“Awesome store great selection. Lessons with Hector are amazing he is very knowledgeable and gives small corrections that give massive improvement, and explains why some things are happening with ball flight, spin rate, ball speed. I would 100% recommend giving them your business.”
“I'm not into shopping especially during the holidays but this experience was so easy and I even got a new member rewards thanks to employee member Kaleed. He was so helpful and had a smile and very polite during my questions about mens shoes for my son's birthday.”
“Frank sold me a carbon shaft and made it a wonderful experience. He cared about my expectations, price range and what I was looking for. Overall great experience. Go check out Frank at the gulf Freeway location!”
“Very pleased with my in ground Ryval Hoops C660 basketball goal. It was installed quickly and w/ zero issues or concerns. Service great and the install team professional and arrived on schedule. My family are very pleased with the purchase. Thanks again!!!”
“Ms. Nicky G deserves a raise. I rolled in late tonight to pick up some tees and although it was closing time her customer service was amazing. Even though I spaced out while checking out she handled it very well and I’m pretty sure we shared a moment. A+ service.”
“Paul Taulton and his wife are the most helpful and kind people to do business with in this retail space. I'm new to gym equipment. And did research on the powertec workbench multi system. Paul is very knowledgeable and very professional. I own my own design company so I know good business practices when I see them. Very upfront and even helped me deliver the boxes since my car was too small. Highly recommend Paul and his wife for any fitness equipment investment needs. Thanks guys”
“The sales associate was very knowledgeable and helpful. He walked me to the areas that had what I was looking for instead of telling me where to go. His services alone is worth going back to the store in the future.”
“My son turn me on to Shooters Corner and although I live in Santa Fe I will travel to Texas City to do all my purchases with them at Shooters Corner because they have great deals prices are never over priced and I recommend them for any and all rifle or hand gun purchases. And they have professionals at work there!!”
“Great customer service given by manager Carlos and his staff on Tax Free Weekend. Team members were extremely friendly and helpful. A week later I had to return to the store to do a swap out on some shirts that were wrong size and the young man Samuel helped me out and exchange my items even had a n item ship my home since they were out of stock. Great customer service. Team at this location is friendly and eager to help. It’s hard nowadays to find great customer service. Kuddos to the manager and his staff.”
“SO SO SO CHEAP AND AMAZING QUALITY!! I got 4 pairs of Nike shorts for $7! And I got a vintage green Nike jacket for $15! Plus, I got White Nike Airforce 1 Shoes for literally $40! They were unused and everywhere else and online they are sold for $120!!!!! If you are on a budget and still want good quality or certain brands, don’t buy cheap, please please please go here.”
“Clean and friendly place. Love the clothes and the sales that go on here! This store is located in an outdoor mall so there are restrooms on site but not in this store. Free parking on site as well.”
“This is my go 2 spot for good shoe deals?. Friendly and helpful staff. I usually buy 2 pairs when i stop by and spend less than a hundred. I noticed they've been adding more mens shoes to the selection lately. I bought some nice hats and bags there before as well.”
“Experiences are not always negative; they can be quite positive. However, the poor communication and lack of respect for customers and their journey make the manager, Jas, highly disrespectful and ruin the experience. Her body language does not display appropriate behavior, and her voice tone is aggressive. I do not appreciate the journey when she is present. She fails to sell what is needed and fails to demonstrate what is desired. Therefore, I give her zero stars. Everyone else communicates effectively and with passion. As a manager, Jas, your customer service is subpar. I will not spend money while you are there. You are unprofessional and lack excellent customer service etiquette.”
“They were very good at corralling me around the way to get in line. I had 2 items to return. One of the items was a heavy duty cot&a sleeping bag, I never got to use them during the long weekend. It was too hot to really go out&have an enjoyable time. However, they handled my return with a snap. I was surprised how easy&no squabbling. I just handed them the receipt &was in+out maybe 10 minutes. They handled it really well. They were an older man with dark hair that helped me&a younger lady with dark hair. They seemed really nice.”
“Rachel (our cashier) was super helpful. The coat I had chose to purchase had a missing tag, but not only was she able to locate the price, but she also came across a storewide discounted price.”
“I’ve been to this Dick’s Sporting Goods location many times, but this was hands down the best customer service experience I’ve ever had here. Connor went above and beyond helping my daughter find the right running shoes for her upcoming race — the 2025 Santa Hustle 5K in Galveston, Texas. He took the time to listen, explain different options, and make sure the shoes truly fit and felt right for her, not just trying to make a quick sale. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about getting her set up correctly for race day. It made a huge difference and completely changed my experience at this store. If you’re coming in for shoes, ask for Connor — he sets the standard for what customer service should be. We’ll definitely be back because of him.”
“I think this is an extremely nice location and it always smells so amazing. The employees are actively engaging with customers on the floor and offer assistance if they see the opportunity. The lines can get long, but they stay on top of trying to keep up a good pace. I’ve had to process returns here as well as completing purchases and have never had any issues. Thank you.”

Dallas-based Corinth Properties will build a mixed-use project with restaurants and an event plaza on the other 14.
