“I'm so happy to have an H-E-B with so many nice people in it and helpful people they r r e doing some freezers in the middle of the store but besides that it's wonderful and I know once it's done it's going to be even better the associates people who work there if you didn't know what associates mean period are so kind I wanted to buy a drink once and the register was closed and one of the ladies went over and make sure I could have the cup so I can go pay it or normal register. Then they have a nice little area to sit and eat or even charge your phone. They have free Wi-Fi you sign on and you agree to their contract not doing anything stupid or illegal. They have good meat great variety good prices and to top it all off the meal deals buy one or two or three items and get like 8 other items free what more can you ask. I know when I used to live in Killeen that was the best part of it now here in Abilene I found my love once again.
Update that I don't live in Abilene anymore, but I have to say this last visit was absolutely amazing. I love every part of it I miss it so much it's literally the best H-E-B that I know of. the customer service here is immaculate and I think all the other HEBs should take pointers from this one customer care, love, concern for others the willingness to move even I've seen people with bad days be so much more happier here I am so thankful for this H-E-B I wish you all were a little bit of everywhere.
(I have to admit my anxiety was really bad when I was in Abilene and I didn't realize it was a day before Thanksgiving a couple years back before the pandemic I had an anxiety attack on the Chip aisle right before Thanksgiving and an employee came and found me help me out and I appreciate that so much if more stores was like that and concern for their customers the world would be a better place.)”

“Small gas station, offers regular and diesel fuel. The parking lot does have enter/exit on opposite sides, so if you have a truck and a (small) trailer then it is possible to pull in and pull right on out, so that’s a little convenient. In general, the parking lot is quite small and cramped. Pay at the pump does not usually work, so if you’re in a hurry, you do probably have to go inside to pay. Employees are usually friendly. Not a bad stop in a pinch.”

“After stopping at 4 different locations last Sunday to use the restroom which is either was out of order or just so disgusting finally the 4th location this DK not only had a restroom but it was super clean. Well tookin care of! And available most of all. The location is in a pretty busy spot but usually not to busy in the store and if it is the service is usually fast and efficient! I have never had a clerk that was to busy or made me wait and best of all friendly! Seems to be always stocked and store is clean over all!”
“I can always find what I'm going there to get at Family Dollar, plus I always get some things I didn't know I needed before I saw them there! This store is always clean, organized and nicely stocked. The employees there are helpful and knowledgeable about the products they carry and they have great working attitudes that make for a great shopping environment. The dude with the Blue hair who I believe is a manager is personable and pleasantly professional in his duties and I recommend saying hello to him if he's on duty at the time of your next visit! This Family Dollar is within easy walking distance from where I live and as an extra plus factor that will keep me coming back- THEY ARE DOG FRIENDLY. I don't walk anywhere in Abilene without my dog and I'll find some reason to take my dog for a stroll around the ' hood so I can stop at this F.D. location and buy some $1 instant coffee because I love it and run through it like crazy! I'm fueled by some Nescafe or Cafe Bustelo espresso packets! It keeps me going and improves my attitude & life in a large way every day! This Family Dollar easily gets the A++++ Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating from me! :-)”
“Only been Once.... But I found prices low and quality high... Lots of unique prepacked, Kwik fix go to meals. Simplifies your shopping when you really don't feel like deciding a quick fix or child's picnic.. Breakfast prepacks as well.. No looking for ingredients all over the store. Or keep a few on hand for backup. Even some meals can be easily prepared by children......I did also lots of healthy choices to throw in a lunch ..

The lady who took our order was AMAZING! I was giving her all these ideas and just trying to make this cake perfect but the lady was so sweet and understanding and the bakery team made my aunt's cake just so BEAUTIFULLY!!!The same ladies made my sister's cake today and they also made my goth cake back in September. “Grateful & appreciative to be a veteran with access to base exchanges & commissaries worldwide. They keep me attached to the military community. They help me save money. Once, one of their employees found my dropped wallet in the parking lot and had it secured for me until I realized I lost it there. Nothing was missing and everything was intact. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. I’m not sure if I would have had the same outcome had I dropped it in a grocery store parking lot of base. I’m not sure who turned it in, but I’d like for the person who monitors the commissary reviews at the store, to tell this person that they are an amazing human being for picking up and securing my wallet. Not even sure if they still work there. I’m grateful for the management/employees who keep them running for the military & veteran families.
