“it's expensive, but worth it just to quickly get in and out. Walmart and HEB are always so crowded and big. Never really have to wait in line for long either, and the employees are always nice, they seem to really enjoy their jobs there. Taking one star away because the pharmacy drive through takes soooooo long....idk why, but it's insane. I just go inside, but when you just want your meds, parking and going inside all the way to the back of the store is such a pain, but it's actually faster than waiting behind even one car in the drive through.”

“There was a really nice gray haired pale man stocking shelves that took very good care of me. Coming from Phoenix the lay out was really different and I needed help finding a few things. I wish I would have caught his name. He informed me of the new store opening on Tuesday and gave me directions. He was very pleasant and I enjoyed my visit. Hopefully his boss will recognize him from my description. I will say I would like to see ollipop in the store or at least rootbeer flavor in the poppi drink. Love that they carry Live drinks sad they are not in the glass bottle and again no rootbeer. Great experience though thanks to the nice gentlemen who gave me his full attention”
“Great place to shop, go to the pharmacy and more! This store even has a bank in it! The store is clean and they keep plenty of registers open so you can always go in and out pretty quick.”

“We recently moved back to Texas and included in the top three things my family missed most in Texas was HEB. It felt like coming home when I walked into their store in Abilene. From the sushi bar to the bakery section with all the fresh made tortillas and everything beyond there is nowhere like it. We love you HEB!”

“I love this store and gas station. Friendly staff, helpful. They take the groceries out of your basket to ring them up, then someone carries them to your car. Very clean store, even the bathrooms are clean. And helpful if you have a question. They care about their customers, us.”

“They have the Community Recreational Hrade Haze. Picked some up just 5 weeks old today! If it sits more than 12 weeks its skunked. It's extremely delicate. But, they are rotating the stock. This is a very big deal. It's hard to know when we will be in to buy and it's pricey stuff. But darn it, they are doing great!”
“To walk in and not see snow white bakery sure hurts... that kinda took a part of our community away when it shut down. We still visit from time to time though and as usual there is always a friendly staff member around to help with a smile.”

“Small gas station, offers regular and diesel fuel. The parking lot does have enter/exit on opposite sides, so if you have a truck and a (small) trailer then it is possible to pull in and pull right on out, so that’s a little convenient. In general, the parking lot is quite small and cramped. Pay at the pump does not usually work, so if you’re in a hurry, you do probably have to go inside to pay. Employees are usually friendly. Not a bad stop in a pinch.”
“I like United they remind me of Meijer in Michigan but only it’s better in my opinion however they do have market street that’s a mega United and they open 24 hrs so that’s a plus and they have a pharmacy and a great deli”

“My son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren moved to Buffalo gap about 2 1/2 months ago. I have visited three times now and have come into your store at least twice per visit. Your staff is amazingly Helpful and the store conditions are truly amazing! There’s always someone on the floor, stocking the shelves. I think this has a direct reflection on Katie, who I understand is the store manager. Wonderful job to you and your team keep it up! I will see and meet you for third weekend Flea market! ??????”

“After stopping at 4 different locations last Sunday to use the restroom which is either was out of order or just so disgusting finally the 4th location this DK not only had a restroom but it was super clean. Well tookin care of! And available most of all. The location is in a pretty busy spot but usually not to busy in the store and if it is the service is usually fast and efficient! I have never had a clerk that was to busy or made me wait and best of all friendly! Seems to be always stocked and store is clean over all!”
“I can always find what I'm going there to get at Family Dollar, plus I always get some things I didn't know I needed before I saw them there! This store is always clean, organized and nicely stocked. The employees there are helpful and knowledgeable about the products they carry and they have great working attitudes that make for a great shopping environment. The dude with the Blue hair who I believe is a manager is personable and pleasantly professional in his duties and I recommend saying hello to him if he's on duty at the time of your next visit! This Family Dollar is within easy walking distance from where I live and as an extra plus factor that will keep me coming back- THEY ARE DOG FRIENDLY. I don't walk anywhere in Abilene without my dog and I'll find some reason to take my dog for a stroll around the ' hood so I can stop at this F.D. location and buy some $1 instant coffee because I love it and run through it like crazy! I'm fueled by some Nescafe or Cafe Bustelo espresso packets! It keeps me going and improves my attitude & life in a large way every day! This Family Dollar easily gets the A++++ Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating from me! :-)”

“??♀️This Dollar General is close and convenient in my neighborhood and has a variety of affordable merchandise available for grab and go. It’s never really crowded either. Many times when I go, I’m one of the few customers there shopping . I’ve noticed some of the workers following me from one aisle, to another, possibly monitoring me, I guess. I noticed this because I would purposely move to another aisle and noticed that they were there in the same aisle shortly after I moved as if they were stocking merchandise and not stalking me. I’m not sure if this is something that they do with all or most customers, or just certain customers, but it’s pretty off-putting, offensive, and uncomfortable. Many times I’ve noticed that when I am ready to check out at the register, the workers disappear. Several times I have had to shout out to ask for assistance and if anyone was there because no one was around. This could’ve made it fairly easy for me to just walk out with merchandise. But hey ??♀️, maybe they wanted to test me after stalking me in the aisles?. I can definitely say that the workers normally are customer friendly. Whenever I do ask about an item and where I can locate it if I am having problems locating it, they are very helpful and I appreciate that about them. I just don’t like that they disappear when I’m ready to check out at the counter because it’s not like I can self check out. So, I find myself just standing around waiting and wondering when someone is coming to the cash register to check me out and this has happened several times. This very little parking in the very front of the store, literally just a few parking spots. The remaining parking is off to the side which feels a little on the sketchy side at night because the parking lot is not normally well illuminated nor do I ever see any type of security guards. This could partially be the reasoning behind them closely monitoring my moves when I’m shopping in the store, I guess??♀️.
Hopefully, this review will help shed some light on some needed areas of improvement in their overall customer service delivery and satisfaction.

“Grateful & appreciative to be a veteran with access to base exchanges & commissaries worldwide. They keep me attached to the military community. They help me save money. Once, one of their employees found my dropped wallet in the parking lot and had it secured for me until I realized I lost it there. Nothing was missing and everything was intact. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. I’m not sure if I would have had the same outcome had I dropped it in a grocery store parking lot of base. I’m not sure who turned it in, but I’d like for the person who monitors the commissary reviews at the store, to tell this person that they are an amazing human being for picking up and securing my wallet. Not even sure if they still work there. I’m grateful for the management/employees who keep them running for the military & veteran families.
