“After contracting the flu my husband went to where the dr faced in my 4 scripts (Walgreens) they didn’t have any of them. So fortunately our dr sent them over to River Road Pharmacy within an hour they were ready. Today my husband is needing all the meds I was given and so back to River Road Pharmacy he will go. New to the area we will forever be your customers.Walgreens is horrendous!!!”

“HEB trumps any other grocery store. I have been coming to them since it had opened. The only issue I come across is the deli team. They are never friendly when they answer the phone and most of the requests in regards to orders is always a “no” from them. Kim and others need to work on their customer service and not come across so brute. Other than that, no complaints!”

“The CVS store (inside Target off of Blanco rd at the Vineyard) is THE best pharmacy that I've been to over the past 20 years. And believe me - I've been to many. Especially in the San Antonio area - I've been to several CVS and Walgreens stores. There are only a handful of pharmacies out of all of those that have any level of acceptable customer service. This CVS store not only has acceptable but Outstanding customer service!I've been going to this CVS store (the one inside Target at the Vineyard) for almost a year and a half now - every single visit of mine has been met with exceptional service. Justin Hrncir and his team (Nicola, Mark, and the rest) run the best pharmacy in San Antone. Period. Their levels of efficiency in quickly tending to you and equally superb - is their effort to save you money on meds that might be expensive! All in all - a great team of pharmacists and pharmacy techs!”

“Lifesavers!!! When my usual Walgreens was out of stock on a daily medication for my son and then told me that I would have to call other Walgreens locations to see if they had the med in stock, when in the past they could tell me what location was in stock, I was left flabbergasted. I called one other Walgreens with no luck so I decided to call my trusty HEB and try their pharmacy. The woman was so helpful and sympathetic to my situation. Unfortunately they didn’t have the medication either but she told me the closest HEB Pharmacy that did! They have earned my business! I had only trusted HEB for my groceries now they will have all of our prescriptions as well! Amazing customer service!”
“I've been to a ton of different pharmacies over the years and I've never had a pharmacy help me as much as this one. And it's everybody there, not just one pharmacist. They've helped find my prescription somewhere else even if they don't have it. They've got in touch with my insurance when there was an issue on their end. They have even helped override some stuff when my insurance was trying to not let stuff go through. Theirs probably 10 pharmacies closer to my house but I'll still always go to this one. Their awesome!”

“We are new to the area and stopped in for a few essentials. The store is laid out well with clear signage. But the reason I am writing is Juliana. This lovely young lady greeted us, kindly helped us with signing up for rewards and explained the benefits. She saw we were buying a local HS t-shirt and asked about my daughter’s grade and how she liked school. She was absolutely delightful. It is customer service like hers that makes me want to return and shop at this CVS.”

“On Thursday, we needed a chemo drug 11 days from the time we turned in the prescription to Walgreens. On the following Monday, Walgreens said it was out of stock and that they could not have it for 30 days. I called WalMart after talking to Walgreens. Melanie dealt with the situation, including getting the prescription from Walgreens. She also said it was out of stock but would have it for us by Wednesday or Thursday. We had it by midafternoon on Wednesday. Thank you Melanie!!!”

“I wanted to give a huge thank you to Caitlyn and Karly. They are incredible, I am a type 1 diabetic and I was getting my insulin. It would have been incredibly expensive but they helped me find pharmacy coupons and I got the price reduced by literally hundreds. They also helped answer questions and it amazed me how patient and kind the staff is here. They made my month seriously! Without a doubt the best pharmacy I have been to.”
“Wow. This pharmacy is fast! Dr ordered a compounded medication on a Thurs, it was processed on Friday and had it in hand on Monday shipped with secure temperature controlled packaging. So glad my Dr switched to this pharmacy as I had previously waited 3-4 weeks for the same medication from another. Also wanted to add this pharmacy answered their phn and immediately helps you on the spot. Prior pharmacy would have phns connected to a message box and NEVER return a call. A refreshing experience with Talons/Strive. Thank you!!!”
