I met Jeff and Sandra at the Hardy Oak location the day before move-in to tour the facility, look at my unit, and complete the contract and set up payment. They were very polite, professional, and thorough and made me feel welcome and comfortable using this facility. The facility is clean, well maintained, and seems secure. I received a good promotional offer for my first month as well as a discount for the following months (which I’m told should last for 5-6 months before any (likely) price increase, but there may be discount offers then as well, so we’ll see).”

“I have used this storage facility about 3 years but was over 4 years ago. In that time, the onsite working sweet elderly couple had greatly improved some of the units, if not all, with solid plywood additions inside the units to enable shelf emplacements and to improve safety between units, ensuring no gaps at the bottom or through the top roof of unit. I appreciated these efforts, since some fishing rods were snatched from another similarly styled storage shed in Corpus Christi through a small opening at the top between units. Though it's been over 3 years since I've rented at John's Rd. Mini Storage, I thought it well that I should mention these improvements in at least some of the units (my unit was on the first row, near the house).”

They care about their tenants and go far and beyond what those chain store storage units handle. I never worried about my things, and I had 2 units for over a decade! Units go quick, so get em while you can! I just hope I can find a place and people like them in Virgina.”

“Stor SelfStorage has been an outstanding storage partner for us over the past few years. We rented a unit at the Fair Oaks location in San Antonio, Texas, and when it came time to close out our unit, we also reserved the moving truck, which turned out to be the perfect size for our needs. On move-out day there was an unexpected issue with the elevators that required repair and caused a delay, but the way the staff handled the situation truly set this company apart.
Eric at the Fair Oaks location provided exceptional customer service throughout the entire process. He clearly understood that the elevator outage impacted our schedule and immediately worked to accommodate us, especially regarding the moving truck rental and the time we lost waiting for repairs. We picked up the truck at the Cresta Bella location, where we interacted with the manager (I believe his name is Patrick), and the service there was just as professional, courteous, and solution-focused.
The overall experience with both locations was one of the best examples of assistance, professionalism, and flexibility that I have encountered. At the Fair Oaks location, Yvonnie (apologies if the name is misspelled) was also incredibly helpful and friendly, reinforcing how well management trains their staff to represent Stor SelfStorage and to treat customers with respect and care. Because of the consistent, high-quality service across locations and over the course of our rental, I can say with confidence that I would 100% recommend Stor SelfStorage to friends, family, and anyone looking for a reliable, customer-focused storage solution.”
