“Update 01/02/26 - went in for inspection and they got me and my wife in and out in minutes.
Pulled in to get my tires aired up on my 350Z prepared to pay a few dollars and they did it no charge in minutes. Very nice and super professional. For sure will be back.”
“Was referred to Truck Techs for a radiator replacement on my 2002 F250 diesel. At drop off I explained a steering issue and explored advantages of a S&B body mount kit since I was the original owner of my 22 year old truck.
Once they had a couple hours to look the truck over, I decided to replace the radiator and hoses, draglink, and install the body mount kit.
Dropped off 8am on Thursday and as promised, the truck was ready Friday before close.
Drove it home which was about a 40 minute drive with highway and city, the truck rode and handled like new!
This was my first visit to Truck Techs and I’m totally over the top satisfied, and will definitely reach out again next time!

“Had major issues with my truck I use for work. Was recommended by another mechanic that didn't specialize in that type of repair. Very nice and professional group and went over entire vehicle to check everything. Since the truck is my living I went all in and had all the repairs made. WOW! My truck has alot of miles for its age but now it's like new. Installed new cam, lifters, radiator, hoses, struts/ shocks, brakes and rebuilt front end. Yes! They can do it all...and fabulously. There was a slight glitch that was made that caused another problem and Tracy notified me...honest!! I got a new set of heads for free@!! A Premier will now be my goto for all my vehicle needs. “Been using TDP for years, either to source parts for transmissions I rebuild or to have them do the rebuild. Always friendly staff willing and ready to help. Fast turn around times and they have what T56 parts I've needed in stock. If you've done any rebuilds yourself of the T56, you'll realize their prices are very reasonable for the effort put in.”
“Haven't left a review bcus a transmission isn't like a restaurant you could review right after eating. So the transmission I wanted to get at least several hundred miles on it before I could even make a fair assumption...so far I'm very pleased with how the transmission is working. Automatic transmission does shift a little hard when slowing down and it shifts into 1st gear.. but from what I've read it could be normal until it's broken in. I'll give it a thousand miles then re evaluate that. But all in all I got a great price, great work, and everything went as planned..thanks Custom transmissions(Barts)Dennis”

“I took my 2021 Mercedes to American Autotech and I've decided that this is the only place I'll take my car should I ever need any repairs after my manufacturer warranty expires. They fixed my rotors and brakes today (not covered by manufacturer warranty). Ahmed is professional and knowledgeable. The price they quoted me over the phone was reasonable and fair. It was also the exact same price I paid once I picked my car up. They know their stuff and I'm comfortable taking my car there.”
“A rebuild cost me $2400 with a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty and I still haven't had problems after over 3 months of getting it fixed. I dropped off on (I believe) a Friday and had it back within like a week, plus it was around Christmas time so that was pretty dang quick. It's a family owned business and they're really kind. They aren't the type of people to try to get over on you with pricing and they know their stuff. If you ever have transmission issues I recommend them!”

“James is the "old school" mechanic that repairs your car as if it were his own. He is honest (almost to a fault) and has resolved issues I thought were unrepairable. I inherited a 2002 Lexus 430 with low miles and runs great. The A/C went out and by the time James received it, the compressor had seized and metal filings throughout the system. He discussed available options, followed by what he would suggest. More importantly, why he is suggesting! It worked without replacing the evaporator saving $800. He has worked on my past Acura's and Toyotas for over 15 years. I only call James and ask if he can repair the problem on whatever car I have and get an honest answer. If he can't, he suggests alternatives that have been just as high in quality. He's worth the wait if he's busy.”

“I used Justin and Modern Dog several years ago when we acquired a stray dog that was considerably larger than our first dog. When you're going from a 24 pound corgi to a 60 pound pit mix, you can't exactly put the dog where you need it to be. I knew I needed help. After making numerous calls to other trainers and facilities, when I spoke to Justin, I knew I made the PERFECT choice. Justin was very informative, patient with me and helped me with Asher. His method of teaching is soft spoken, calming, and Asher truly enjoyed his class times with Justin. Fast forward, I get another dog after Asher's passing and I was able to take the things that Justin taught me and apply them to Samson. Justin was always there for us - to answer questions, offered suggestions. About a year and a half ago, we rescued Dotty Lou, a poor pup that had been abandoned twice in less than 6 months, her needs were more than I could handle. I reached out to Justin and he worked with Dotty and I. Again, his soft spoken and calming demeanor put Dotty and I at ease. I know that we all miss him in Lubbock, but know that the folks in Fort Worth have a gem of a trainer and I hope that they will all take advantage of his great training and relatability to dogs. He is a blessing to all who have the opportunity to use Modern Dog Training. I simply can't thank him enough for all that he has done for our two dogs.”
