About Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth University Drive
The Courtyard Fort Worth University Drive offers a convenient and comfortable stay with many positive features. Guests appreciate its great location near Dickies Arena, Cowtown Coliseum, the zoo, museums, shopping, and restaurants, making it ideal for exploring the area. The hotel boasts very clean rooms with calming decor, a private and clean pool, and facilities like a workout room, laundry room, and ice machines. Parking is plentiful, with over 75 spaces, though guests should be aware of parking charges, especially when booking through third-party sites. The staff receives high praise for their friendliness and helpfulness, with many reviews highlighting excellent service and responsiveness, particularly from front desk employees who go above and beyond to meet guest needs. However, there are some downsides. The beds are very soft and almost on the floor, which some guests found uncomfortable. There were reports of water bugs in rooms, and issues with moisture causing a damp smell. Check-in service was sometimes unfriendly, and pool hours were inconsistently communicated, leading to disappointment. Additionally, the hotel does not offer complimentary breakfast; instead, there is a bistro for breakfast and snacks, and no vending machines are available. Some guests also found the rooms to be expensive for what they offered, noting the absence of basic amenities like a coffee pot. Overall, the Courtyard Fort Worth University Drive is a well-maintained hotel with a great location and attentive staff, but potential guests should consider the comfort of the beds and the extra costs involved.
Great hotel with close restaurants and good location.

Staff was polite, great area. They charged me $12 to park in an empty parking lot. Frustrated when places squeeze every penny out of you. It just can’t be the price of the hotel

This is my go to place to stay when visiting my student at TCU. Love that I can walk along the river right next to it and love that I can walk to several different restaurants and/or bars.
