“Brought my pup in for a CT scan to evaluate before a needed surgery later the following week, I explained she wasn’t doing well and wouldnt stand up and they immediately were called to action. The staff responded instantly helped carry my 60lb girl into the facility. They told me my options and reality of situation and I elected surgery that moment. Long story short they successfully removed the tumor and gave me constant updates on recovery. Took great care of her. I couldn’t feel more lucky to have had that staff, and surgeons for her care. They were all coming in during an ice storm while the rest of folks stayed home! I cannot express my gratitude Enough! You are in the best possible hands with the crew in grapevine! Additional care fact - I know they see so many sick pets but when I came back the staff crew remembered me 5 days later and stopped in to check in. ❤️?”

“When our doodle decided socks are a food group ?? this amazing vet team came to the rescue! From the second we called in a mild panic, the staff was calm, reassuring, and so incredibly kind.
They took such great care of our fluffy sock-thief and kept us updated every step of the way. You could tell they genuinely care about both the pets and their slightly embarrassed owners. The whole team was professional, compassionate, and even managed to make a stressful situation feel manageable.
Happy to report our doodle is back to stealing hearts instead of laundry. We are so grateful for this wonderful staff — 10/10 recommend!”

“They were excellent. I visited on a Saturday, and there was only one other pet owner present, which made for a calm and efficient experience. The receptionist was professional and assisted us almost immediately. The wait time was minimal—approximately 5–10 minutes—before we were seen.
I brought my 20-lb, 1-year-old mixed poodle for a wellness exam. The standard cost was $75 however, a new-client promotion reduced the total to $25, reflecting a $50 discount. We were also able to have our tick, flea, and heartworm medication prescription emailed to us, allowing us to conveniently order it online. I would highly recommend this location.”

“Due to unforeseeable circumstances, we had to put our sweet old Beagle down here. They are not our normal vet, but ours was closed for the holidays and recommended St. Francis. They were so incredibly kind when my husband took our dog in. I then picked up some items the following week, visibly upset about the situation, and the vet tech gave me a quick hug. This act of kindness meant so much to me and I did not want it to go unnoticed. “We had a little altercation between our two dogs which left one injured. SMAC took us in without an appointment under emergency situation. They were patient, helpful, caring and affordable. They took care of our little fur-child. We also had to make a heartbreaking decision to let our other fur child take his eternal nap. The Dr and staff were supportive and non-judgemental.
We really appreciate the service and even the follow up communication. We will definitely keep using this clinic and highly recommend them.”

“Dr. Gumfory has been our family vet for many years. I worked in vet medicine for around 10 years (many years ago) and he's the best vet I've ever met. He is thorough, experienced obviously, conservative and logical about next steps in diagnostics. Many vets that arent as skilled and experienced often will rely on expensive diagnostic, sometimes invasive tests rather just good old fashioned sense and han using tbHe will have very well thought out treatment plans and be considerate of costs /age of pet, etc. while offering a range of options. He also has incredible bedside manor and is the sweetest guy. We love him so much.Dr. Wallace is new to us, but our dog William was attacked and in bad shape T an ER vet. I felt uncomfortable with their treatment recommendations and didn't feel confident in their abilities at all. Westcreek got us in, helped assess William, and dr Wallace was incredible. She came and checked on William while we were seeing Dr. Gumfory to see how he was doing. She called and also listened to my concerns that he needed more sedatives in order to rest and called in meds.Don't go anywhere else. This is the best place, with the best care. I'll never go anywhere else”

“My dog tore both of his ACLs and had surgery here a year ago. The prices were very affordable compared to other places, and Dr. Rickords was so kind throughout the whole process. My dog Apollo is actually happy to go to the vet, he doesn’t shake or get scared at all. Dr. Rickords walked us through the entire procedure and recovery, which was so comforting and made me feel like they truly care about my pup, not just the money. When Apollo had a bad reaction to his stitches, I called, and they told us to come in right away, no stress, no judgment. He’s now thriving, running, and playing again!
We also brought our other dog, Mack, here. Sadly, his body wasn’t producing red blood cells (which they caught), and we had to put him down. We were devastated, but the team was so compassionate the tech even got teary eyed with us. They even sent a card sending their condolences that everyone signed. It meant so much to see how much they care.
Apollo is reactive to big dogs, and they always let us come through the back door and call us when it’s clear to bring him in. They truly go above and beyond.
Even with our 17-year-old cat, they completely understand that she’s an inside–outside cat and don’t lecture us like most vets do, they just work with her and with us.
I bring all of my animals here and don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else unless it’s an emergency. They’re truly the best from the front desk, techs, and vets!”
