“They always need more plastic bags than they have so if you have the large size (bigger than standard grocery bags) please donate them. I don't mean the nice reusable ones, I mean like regular plastic for them to use at the register.
Always get good deals on second hand furniture here”
“This was my first time donating blood and was super nervous but thanks to Miguel, Sharon and Analucia I was comforted throughout the process and am grateful for their professional performance and care....will definitely come back to donate...thank you guys and gals y'all are great!!!”
“Alvin Rotary Club is a beautiful venue. Small but cozy for a small gathering, party, or a small wedding. Very clean. The parkingnice and clean and landscape is nice also.”
“Our family enjoys the Perry Family YMCA. I have been a coach for 2 seasons. The staff is supportive of their volunteers. My youngest daughter has fallen in love with volleyball since she has played on their recreational team.”
“I had a really great experience at this dental clinic. I originally came in because I was having pain and wanted to get my teeth checked. They did my X-rays for a very reasonable price, which I really appreciated.
The staff was very kind, patient, and professional from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I ended up getting my wisdom teeth taken care of and the whole process was much less stressful than I expected.
The prices are fair and the team is honest and helpful. I’m very grateful for the care I received and I’ll definitely be coming back here for my cleaning and future dental work. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a caring and affordable dental clinic.”
“This place was a gem!! The ladies there are wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. I found me a pair of brand new Adidas for $10. $7.50 with a coupon!! They have some really cool items, just gotta look!! ♥️ Y'all ladies!!! My mom told me that they are all volunteers, which added to the magic!!”
“? Good donation center. Took things we no longer need and was too good to go to garbage. The place next to them is vacant and this location is NOT a store its only for donations. Not sure why they call it Houston. This is Marina Bay Drive, League City ,Texas?”
“Absolutely love coming here! Staff is super friendly and prices are so low!!! I've made a lot of great purchases here! My young niece loves coming to Pearland ? just for this store!!! The prices on toys are incredible! Thank you!”
“I’m 72 years old and pride myself on being independent and self sufficient but recently found myself in need of assistance. Living on a fixed income relying solely on Social Security to meet my obligations, a friend suggested checking out Interfaith Caring Ministries. Scared that I was going to be evicted because I didn’t have enough money to completely pay my rent. To be honest I was so frightened that I was going to be homeless and embarrassed that I couldn’t meet obligations. The kindness and compassion that ICM displayed was beyond anything that I could have expected. Not only did they assist with my rent, they also helped with unexpected food to fill my refrigerator and pantry. I was overwhelmed with anxiety about what to do yet they provided hope and other advocates that were available for help, I believe the best thing they provided was honest caring arms reaching out to provide hope without embarrassment or shame. They genuinely care for our community by giving direction and guidance and most importantly hope. To say I’m forever grateful is an understatement. Thank you ICM for being there for me…plus they followed up inquiring about how I was progressing…who does this?”
“This is quickly becoming a tradition in our family - we love the exposure you get up close and personal with the planes, their pilots, and crews. Lots of planes on ground to roam around (and sometimes through) as well as great aerial performances. It may be obvious, but it certainly did not cross our minds before our first visit - there is no shade as the show takes place on an airfield...pretty hard to have trees where planes take off and land! Pack sunscreen. Bring water. Wear a hat. Take hearing protection. If you are committed to staying a while, bring folding chairs.”

“You have a variety of classes for 50 yrs.old and up. The front desk employees are very kind, helpful and friendly. The instructors are very welcoming, challenging and helpful. I had to go to another gym a year ago and I was sooo thankful to return to the Y. Thank you,Sara Gonzales”
“This was the most efficient and friendly drop-off I have ever experienced in our many years of donating to Goodwill. They saw me pull up and a lady walked out with a push cart all the way to our van for me to set our boxes on, and had a receipt ready to go! Thank you!”
“Kinda hard to find. They need a sign or something. If you're looking for it it's in the building with the United Way. The ladies working were very friendly and helpful. They greeted us before we were even through the door.”
“Love them and what they do but ALWAYS be sure to call before making the drive to their store. The hours online are not at all accurate, as I've learned the hard way by making the hourlong drive there and discovering no one showed up for work. They're volunteers, so it's to be expected. Just make sure to call.”
“I had a great experience at The Rose. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. Brittany, the technician, was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions, which made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. The process was smooth, professional, and pleasant. I highly recommend The Rose to anyone looking for excellent care and outstanding customer service.”
“My daughter’s therapist is amazing! She has made such an impact in both our lives. It’s the first therapist of many that my daughter was able to connect with. Going to therapy used to be a chore and now it’s something she looks forward to. We are very blessed to have found her.”
“Just ok.
They have been making improvements and someone has finally started to organize the items. Not there yet, but better than a year ago.
Been going to goodwill for 50 years.
Quality of items are down, mainly because they sell all the good donations on their auction site.
Too bad, I rarely buy anything in the store.”

“We recently moved to the area and wanted to start a healthy exercise routine as a family. The Thelma Ley facility does that for us-we can all go to the gym together and know the kids are safe and taken care of while we get a good workout in! All the staff is very nice and the facility is clean. Thanks so much for being a part of our community.”

“We go to our local Goodwill every couple of months to pick up movies, music and anything else we see that’s interesting. It’s a nice change from shopping at full retail price and we appreciate that it helps people find work.”
“I found so many treasures at this location, to name a few, Krling coffe pod Thsts valued at 150. On up. I got mine for 9.99. a bag full of 21x24 for 4 for 9.00! Bag full of ribbons and stuff for 5.00. Ribbons holder for 5.00. 2.1/2 x 40yrds in the bag for 9.99.
I can’t wait to go back!”
“I don't know why goodwill all of a sudden feels that they have a reason to charge $10 and up for clothing! Everything is donated. There's nothing brand new in there. And actually, some of the stuff look pretty sad like it shouldn't.I've even been on the shelf. I guess the millionaire that has this place. Try to make you feel good because he's given people jobs but they're not even making minimum wage.So good for him, he's found cheap labor. I'd rather donate my stuff and go to mom and pops. The smaller area shops. The place where I volunteer we charge$3 for tops and or pants. Because again, after we paid the rent and utilities, the rest of the money. Goes to feed people help people out. Which is what goodwill should be doing? Not giving that guy millionaire status.”
“Friendly staff and very attentive. Does take a minute to clear paperwork before donating. They offer snacks and drinks pre, during, and post donation. Ive been donating here 4-6 times a year for about 7 years and have only had 3 bad sticks and staff always super caring if that happens. Proud to be 6 + gallons in!”
