About Wings Over Houston Airshow

Wings Over Houston Airshow is a non-profit, civic event hosted every year in October. The goals and objectives of the Airshow are to educate and inspire the next generation of aviation enthusiasts and professionals, as well as support and fund the three units of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) located here in the Houston area. On top of educating, inspiring and assisting the CAF, the Wings Over Houston Airshow also donates to many other local and national charities. The Airshow is a top military recruiting event in the area every year and it takes pride on honoring all that have served past, present, and future. A great family event overall with a full day of entertainment and excitement. The reviews describe the Wings Over Houston Airshow as a must-see event that is highly recommended, especially for families and aviation enthusiasts. Attendees praise the variety of aircraft demonstrations, including the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds, as well as the opportunity to experience the "amazing pieces of engineering artwork." The event is also noted for its patriotic atmosphere and support for the military. While some reviewers mention issues with high costs and the heat, the overall sentiment is one of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the event organizers, volunteers, and military personnel involved in making the Airshow a success each year.
